'It seems the time has come,' Ahara thought to herself. In the area where all the other dragons were. 'May you be safe, young one. I will make sure to do my best in assisting you.'

"It's far too early in the morning for this nonsense," she complained, trying to curl tighter into a ball to preserve warmth. "If a child had been born, we'd have a hatchling walking around right now. All of you are adult dragons." She perked up as a thought struck her. "Unless they used a Scroll of Maturity..." Sitting up, Bane yawned. "Very well. I will aid in your quest to prevent... whatever it is all of you are afraid of. But really, you may be misguided in your beliefs. Ultimately, our enemy is the Lightweaver, who, in her search for knowledge, has stooped to using evil magicks!" Bane's familiar sighed, all too used to these rants. "Indeed, the Lightweaver has listened to the whispers of the Shade while trying to uncover the mysteries of the universe! As a result, she is now the Shade's minion. It is merely a matter of time until she allows the world to plummet into eternal darkness..."

She whipped her head toward the sound of rustling leaves behind her, and haughtily strolled over to the patch of undergrowth. A tail of mouse disappeared just before she could reach under the leaves. Enough prey to coax them near a sleeping dragon. She knew that this island was worth fighting for, even if it cost her her life. She shook her head, remembering that today was the birth of the special hatchling. Like all of the other Hellhounds, she believed it was their savior. Leaping into the air, she thought about the snobbish spiral her tribe mates (?) had told her about. Surely nobody was this spoiled? But no matter. Even if she was a Hellhound, she liked friends, as long as they never got into her private business. ((I hope this is okay. First time!!))

"What a... fascinating helmet you got there. Stargazer ducked her head, noticing a bit of dirt stuck between Blizzard's claws. "Would you mind cleaning your claws a bit? There's a lovely river down there. I just can't stand uncleanliness." She formed a ghost of an apologetical grin on her face as she thought about how the pearlcatcher even move with such strange armor on. ((I have to go to bed now. TTYL!))

Her eyes narrowed slightly at the coatl's remark. "Do not waste my time with petty compliments that you do not even mean. I prefer dragons to be blunt and honest," she said, keeping her voice cold and neutral. She lifted her claws up and spotted the speck of dirt. It was so tiny she had barely noticed it. "These claws have seen much worse then a mere speck of dirt," she told the coatl, flicking the speck of dirt off. That is why I prefer the cold snow of the Southern Icefield. @StormDreamer
"Thanks, but I think I can handle stuff on my own. After all, it's kind of hard to lay a claw on me, ya know?" The wing passed straight through me as my crest fluttered. "I forgot to tell you, I'm a ghost. Also I was wondering why we can't talk to most of the dragons here. Do you think they'll get angry if I try to talk to them since I'm a Skycat and all?" Hmm. Even though I'm supposed to trust everyone with me, I have a feeling that not all of them are actually worthy of my trust. Assassins can't trust anyone, even their own partners. I thought, looking around. "Are there any other Skycats around right now?"

Surely she had her own weakness? Oh, she had at least one easy weakness. Wearing armor meant she must have at least some chinks. She gave Blizzard one last shrewd smile and strolled away with her head high. Nobody could guess her true weakness, her deepest fear, she was sure. Though Stargazer was a perfectionist, she could always put down that habit for a while, enough to do something... out of her usual nature. This pearlcatcher wasn't even aware of her powers, no, not yet. She could be a valuable ally, though.
