Azaran looked at the four towering hellhounds.
He could possibly beat them. Possibly. But they were all twice his size....
He failed to hide the twinge of fear in his voice as he challenged the hellhounds.
"Yeah? Y-you'd REALLY want to challenge me? Are you sure? You certainly wouldn't like the outcome of it..."
He glanced around nervously, trying to see if any of the skycats would be around to help him. For once, he wasn't so sure if this was a battle he could win.
"Y-you wouldn't stand a chance against me! I-I..."

He was definitely weaker than Blizzard, so she knew he couldn't be any more important than a bug on her path... no wait, she would freak out about that. "You're worth nothing, little hacked-up furball." Stargazer strode away confidently, knowing the Hellhounds had managed to shake up the arrogant spiral. She couldn't wait to see Blizzard size up Azaran's weaknesses and totally crush him, like a bug.

Azaran glanced anxiously around. This seemed to be a situation that he wouldn't be able to get out of by bluffing.
And he was pretty sure that he couldn't beat any of them, much less all of them at once. He was smaller, less trained, and outnumbered.
"Look. I-I'm sure that y-you're all very eager to fight, and that I'm certainly going to d-defeat you,but-"
He stopped midsentence, unsure how to find a way out of this without losing his dignity.
He glanced around to see if any skycats were around.

After all that boasting and proclaiming yourself the best, you do not even want to show us that you can back up your bluffs? If you truly believe us to be weak, then show us by defeating us. Only a lowly coward would ever boast and then back out of a fight when they practically asked for it," she hissed as she moved forward towards Azaran, even as he backed away. She made sure to drag her claws and she walked forward, leaving deep gorges in the earth. "Do not be such a coward. We can finally see who is stronger this way."

"What? I am not some guard dog for you to order around, Azaran," Bane growled, narrowing her eyes. "At the same time, I do believe that the Hellhounds ought to back down. Anyone who has spent more than a minute with Azaran knows that he tends to say incendiary things. Anyone with an ounce of sense in them will just ignore him. He humiliates himself by running his mouth like a fool. But those who easily allow his words to sway them look like even bigger idiots." Bane looked at the Hellhounds with weary annoyance, her gaze lingering especially on Blizzard.
"I advise those of you thinking of commencing a fight to calm down. Starting bloodshed over the words of a stupid dragon is shameful. You could easily ignore him and there would be no problem."
