The crystal gems weren't the only gems left on earth after the war. Several other groups have been hiding around the world, keeping out of the Home World's notice. Because of all the Home World gem activity in beach city though, the other gems are starting to come out of hiding and regroup. In this RP, you will be making a gem team and heading for Beach City.

Basically, a relatively non-restrictive way to get all the Steven Universe OCs that have built up with the slew of new episodes out of our systems : P

You don't have to get permission to join or anything, as long as you put up characters you can be a part of this rp : P
When the Crystal Gems become relevant, anyone can write them as long as they can do so in character. If you don't think you can write them well, let someone else.

Name: Tourmaline
Age: Looks in her early twenties or late teens.
Gender: Female
Appearance: Tourmaline is short and chubby, with round eyes and a round face. Her skin is light red-pink, and her hair is green, in a fluffy bob-cut. She usually wears a tank top and shorts in various shades of pink and green, along with sandals. Her gem is shaped like a curved tear drop and is on her right foot. (I'll include pics when I have time.) She has two swirl shaped dark pink feathers in her hair at all times.
Personality: Tourmaline is extremely cheerful and bubbly, to the point of being naive. She tries to stay constantly optimistic, even when Blood Stone is being particularly crazy. Tourmaline was recused from a kindergarten by Agate just after the war ended, and has had no trouble adjusting to life on earth. It's very hard to get her angry, but she will go to lengths for people she cares about, or anyone she thinks is good.
Main Weapon: A fencing saber, the handle shaped like her gem.
Main power: Tourmaline is extremely fast and has very fast reflexes. Not a flashy power, but allows her an advantage when fighting with her sword.
Other: Generally fuses with Blood Stone(Carnelian). Carnelian is tuff, snappish, grumpy, and somewhat childish. She has orange skin and darker orange hair that sticks straight up. Uses a short-sword or her fists.l

Name: Jade
Age: Looks a little older than Tori.
Gender: Male
Appearance: Very tall, with lean muscle and sharp features. His skin is light green, and his spikey hair is darker green. His eyes two are dark green, and almond shaped. He wears a white t-shirt, loose beige pants, and a green sash. He has jade gauntlets on both wrists, one of which turns into a large clawed hand. His gem is in the upper middle of his breast-bone.
Personality: Jade generally presents himself as stoic and emotionless. Rarely will he change his expression from anything but boredom or vague annoyance. He tries to keep himself emotionless on the inside as well, but finds himself failing more often than he'd like. Against his better judgement, he got very close to Agate and cares about Tourmaline, but has been trying to distance himself from her. Patients of a saint. Served as a medic under Rose Quartz in the war.
Main Weapon: A big claw-hand.
Main power: Healing- He can heal most small injuries easily, and larger ones with effort.
Other: Often fuses with Blood Stone(Aventurine), prefers to fuse with Agate(Turquoise). Turquoise is huge, maybe 17ft tall, with long spiky white hair and bright blue skin. Four eyes and four legs, fights with dart shooting gloves. A strangely nice person. Aventurine is is maybe 8ft tall and very skinny and spiky. She has dark green/black just past her ears. She is crazy and flips between sedate and manic. Fights with knife fingers.

Name: Heliotrope
Age: Around the same age as Tori.
Gender: Female
Appearance: Heliotrope is medium height and petite. She has long dark blue hair, lighter blue/green skin, and red markings on her arms, legs, sides, and cheeks. Her eyes are brighter red. She wears a short red dress and ankle length boots. Her gem is shaped like a diamonds with the sides pushed in, it's on her upper right thigh.
Personality: Heliotrope is pretty much crazy. She is manipulative, sadistic, and psychotic. She is extremely loyal to Yellow Diamond and thus Agate, but totally lost it when Agate switched sides and joined Rose. She stayed with Agate, but after the war ended she tortured Agate until she reverted to gem form and became the 'leader' of their group. She loves toying with other gems and humans alike, particularly her own team. Not physically very strong, but her abilities are horrifying enough to keep Tori and Jade with her.
Main Weapon: Daggers made from her blood.
Main power: Can shape her blood and occasionally other people's.
Other: Usually fuses with Tourmaline(Carnelian), prefers Jade(Aventurine). Used to fuse a lot with Agate(Sardonyx). Sardonyx is arrogant, stoic, and stuck up. She fights with Exploding throwing knives.

Name: Blue Lace Agate
Age: About Jade's age.
Gender: Female
Appearance: Agate is very tall, even taller than Jade (he's 7ft, she's 11ft). She has long fluffy light blue/purple hair, slightly darker blue/purple(periwinkle?) skin. Her skin has banding patterns of white blue. Her eyes are usually half lidded and dark blue. She wears a short light blue/white dress with large sleeves that don't cover her shoulders but go down to her wrists. She wears bands on both wrists and ankles. Her gem is on her lower back, shaped like a circle. Strong to the point she sometimes has trouble controlling it.
Personality: Agate is one of the calmest, most mellow people you will ever meet. She rarely shows any emotion other than vague sadness or vague happiness, preferring to watch everyone and think. She's not cold or distant, just very level headed. Agate cares a lot about all gems, especially her team. She will go to almost any length to protect her friends. She's much older than the other three, and sometimes has trouble comprehending the passage of time. Started off under Yellow Diamond but switched sides and joined Rose during the war, becoming one of her higher up generals. Jade and
Main Weapon: Little bombs- She pops them out of her gem and they create small explosions.
Main power: Making other people hallucinate. Not to the point she could trap someone in a dream world, but she can make them see, hear, taste, or feel something that isn't there (only one thing at a time on gems). Doesn't like to use it, but will sometimes to keep humans from discovering her team.
Other: After being tortured by Blood Stone not long after the end of the war, Agate reverted to gem form and has remained asleep inside for a long time. Jade carries her gem around. Prefers to fuse with Jade(Turquoise).

Name: Topaz
Age: Eh, 20s-30s
Gender: Male
Appearance: A very, very small gem capable of sitting comfortably on the shoulders of most others. He has yellowed skin and short, starkly orange hair with a noticeable cowlick. He has a round gem on his left cheek, at the end of a semi circle under his eye resembling the bottom lens of a monocle. His clothing appears to consist of cloth pants and a waistcoat with minimalistic detail and stars for buttons.

Personality: Seems to have no problem talking to others as though they were on his level, partially due to having a deepened, attention grabbing voice for his size. Self-assured, but not arrogant or condescending, he's the one who most often speaks for both himself and Tanzanite/Citrine, and although he seems well put together his lack of self awareness and surprisingly naivety can get him into trouble. He seems to expect that he can talk himself out of problematic situations and becomes surprised and ineffectual when this isn't the case. His usual well-put together demeanor crumbles quickly when faced with foreign situations. Though book smart, his street wisdom (especially when it comes to humans) is questionable.

Topaz was once a loyal scientist for the homeworld, part of a team responsible for engineering kindergarten gems. At the end of the war, he suddenly found himself abandoned on earth with no way to contact home, and for a time was alone. However it wasn't long before he became the companions fellow displaced gems Citrine and Tanzanite. For a long time, his allegiance was still silently with homeworld, but his time soul searching on earth has forced him to consider the other side of the conflict.

Main Weapon: Giant battle ax yo
Main power: Tends to create a lot of seismic damage in battle, due to an inherent power that makes him much more dense then he seems. Basically, the moment he starts thrashing around a lot things get broken. His weapon doesn't help that either.

Name: Citrine
Age: Early 20s
Gender: Female
Appearance: Fairly average in stature and body shape, her overall colors is surprisingly similar to Topaz at first glance, but a somewhat more solid and intense orange all together. Despite not having much (anything) to say, she tends to give off a bouncy aura. Her hair is tied in loose braids and she appears to be wearing a pair of overalls and a simple shirt. Her gem is teardrop shaped and appears a large earring on her left ear.

Personality: In the time that Topaz has known her, she's never been able to talk, but seems to be able to communicate very effectively enough through body language. She claims to be a former member of the rebellion, although reluctant to participate in a war at all in the first place. She seems to suffer some level of amnesia as a result of her experiences and often has difficulty recalling the exact timeline of events as they actually happened. It seems as though she retreated into her gem for some time, perhaps after being wounded in battle, and was lost as a result. Upon reemergence, she appears to have lost her voice entirely.

Despite her quietness, Citrine always seems to be brimming with energy, unable to sit still for very long. She has a tendency to get worked up and impatient when unable to move around, and expresses herself with very clear bursts of anger and annoyance. For the most part though, she is playful and curious, often purposely seeking out interaction with humans that Topaz would rather avoid at all costs. However, in this sense they can both be said to share the same foolish ignorance about their new home planet. She follows her companions reluctantly as she tries to scrape together a clearer picture of what happened to her, but is slowly forming an unexpected bond to them both.

Main Weapon: Scythe
Main power: Minor healing and restorative abilities; particularly, she seems to be able to lend others a renewed burst of energy when tired.

Name: Tanzanite
Age: Ambiguous
Gender: Female
Appearance: Towering over her companions and standing out due to being dark blue, Tanzanite is easily the group's greatest source of brute strength and can often be seen carrying Topaz during longer excursions. Despite her disinterest in understanding self care, Topaz has made sure that she appears well put together so as not to frighten the people they come across or look inconspicuous. As such, her purple hair is trimmed into a neat bob cut and her clothing takes the form of a simple old fashioned cotton dress that she finds aggravating but wears anyways due to Topaz's orders that she appear presentable. She is often seen wearing a bonnet that matches her dress. Her gem is located on her right palm.

Personality: Once consumed with the desire for bloodshed, it has taken years to transform a once hostile creature created to destroy into a very cautious gentle giant. Instruction to make her aware of her strength has resulted in Tanzanite being extremely wary of interacting with anything small then her- other then Topaz -who is more then capable of holding his ground against her in a test of physical strength; even with him she exhibits an unusually tender touch. Though normally docile, she is deeply concerned with obedience to Topaz and will follow his orders without question, even if he tends to find this more problematic then useful as she has a tendency to act abruptly and take things that he says at face value.

Tanzanite was recovered by Topaz as a last remnant of the time he spent at kindergarten. Although she was designed to be a weapon of war and initially tried to kill him, he has sense made it his personal project to teach her respect and manners, with varying levels of success. Although Topaz and Citrine have always kept too much distance from one another for fusion, he and Tanzanite are quite comfortable with their combined form, Blue Topaz.

Main Weapon: Brass knuckles
Main power: Highly sensitive to the emotions of others, sometimes in a way that makes her agitated and uncontrollable. She tends to 'feed' off of the energy of raw feeling but doesn't know how to cope with that correctly yet and freaks out instead.

Name: Amber
Age: 32
Gender: Female
Appearance: Amber is average height and has large curves her hair is long and looks like tree sap or molasses, her skin is tangerine and she has a large neckalace with giant beads some longer than normal spheres, her shirt is bright red and has no sleeves and a poofy bottom, she wears a dark iridescent pink and purple skirt, her shoes are almost equivalent to the ruby red slippers from the wizard of oz minus the strap. Ambers eyes are large and red and are mostly round but take shape of a fat almond the has large red lips a rounded nose her gem is in the shape of a sharp teardrop under her eye.
Personality: She is pretty stoic and and she only ever looks super focused or angry she mostly just listens and has a good memory because everything "sticks" in her mind (see what I did there haha) she tries to relate events that don't make sense and is a very good puzzle/problem solver. A lot of time she may sound rude but she doesn't ever say anything that fails to make progress she is good at staying on task and keeping everyone else on task too.
Main Weapon: An axe made out of hardened tree sap on a large thick branch sharpened precisely.
Main power: Brute strength and trash talk.
Other: She did not fight in the war and she wasn't on anybodies side she thout the production of more gems seemed useless but didn't see why Earth was so special it was just like any other planet the homeworld had used.

Name: Halite (Salt)
Age: Hmm like 7?
Gender: Female
Appearance: Her skin is lavender and her eyes are purple and like giant walnuts or like this emoticon ???? her hair is white and short but sticks out in all directions she wears a blue work training outfit (like the on Connie wears in the do it for him song) but with a long black or blue ribbon belt she is skinny and short and she has a small pointy nose. Her gem is in an odd prism and is on her tongue.
Personality: She is very lively and can't focus on anything for more than two seconds unless it is a book or her being scolded, she holds deep respect for Amber and won't listen to instruction unless it's from her she likes taekwando and has a pet rock (a corrupted gem named geode it looks like a spider)
Main Weapon: Nunchucks
Main power: Super flexible
Other: She was created in a kintergarden but she was placed in an unfortunate spot and wasn't able to escape to the surface so instead she dug downward and ended up in a salt deposit in an abandoned mine, where she was later found by Amber she is a post war gem but has heard stories fro Amber.

Name: Morganite
Age: 23
Gender: Girl
Appearance: Light pink, curvy and average height. Has long curly hair a slightly darker color than her skin, and has somewhat orange eyes. Wears a white lolita dress with ruffles and frills and cat-patterned tights with black flats.
Personality: Sweet and prim, she is extremely feminine and enjoys human lolita culture, and how adorable and sweet everything is. Eats human dessert quite a lot. She enjoys caring for animals of all kinds, and can seemingly calm even the most frightened of creatures. However, she loses her cool on occasion to reveal an immense and powering fury underneath her sweet personality, however much he tries to hold back. Her nickname when she was at homeworld was Tranquil Fury, due to her duality. She was a gem that wasn't originally meant to fight, as she was just a dancer on homeworld, and a famous one at that. She decided to join Rose after Onyx, her best friend, convinced her to. It was a long and difficult process learning how to fight, but her natural agility as a dancer helped quite a bit. She and Onyx were separated from the other gems when they were taken prisoner by Jasper and were being transported away, but they escaped soon after due to Onyx's ability.
Main Weapon: A white flanged mace, wielded with one hand. Sometimes she dual wields, or makes them longer to get better range.
Main power: Calming ability, able to direct calm onto other creatures, but it saps at her own sense of calm, making her anxious. It works best when she herself is in a calm state, so when she is in rage-state she can't use it.
Other: Gem is between her shoulder blades, her flail shoots out of it to behind her head, where she catches it. Fiercely protective of Onyx, and her rage state is typically only induced when she gets hurt.

Name: Onyx
Age: 19
Gender: Girl
Appearance: Extremely dark grey, with dark blue eyes, and spikey short black hair. Wears a leather jacket and a dark blue crop top. Wears short, rugged, army green shorts with frayed edges an holes in the denim. Combat boots. Is tall and thin, but with obvious muscle on her frame. Has shiny skin.
Personality: Blunt and sarcastic, she is a stark contrast to Morganite. She is cynical, harsh, and somewhat apathetic in attitude, but she does have a soft spot for Morganite. She like human punk rock music, and spends much of her free time at their own gym that was set up, practicing moves and getting stronger. She enjoys kickboxing and martial arts, and has trained in many forms of the art over her years on earth. Her favorite is Northern Shaolin. She used to be part of the army on homeworld, but when she learned of the injustice towards the Earth from Rose, she defected, but unable to leave her best friend behind, she went to Morganite in her dance studio and asked her to run away with her. Morganite said yes and they joined the resistance, Fighting for earth.
Main Weapon: a Dark blue and black leather wrapped Sword-Staff about eight feet long in total.
Main power: the ability to shoot hardened light, or laser beams, out of her hands or fingers.
Other: Gem is directly underneath her ribcage.

Their Fusion, since they fuse a lot, i figured i would make a character slot for her:
Name: Rhodolite.
Age: 30
Gender: Girl
Appearance: Tall and a bit curvy with dark pink skin and short black hair. She has four eyes, with the second set on her forehead. Has four arms, and wears a white leather jacket and black shorts, and sneakers.
Personality: Extreme calm, she is straightforward but still kind.She has the ability to channel the rage of Morganite using Onyx's apathy and curtness, she is extremely more powerful than either due to her ability to be calm under duress and channel her rage in a productive manner, aka towards enemies, and with extreme precision.
Main Weapon: A black and white mace with a sword-like staff instead of a normal pole
Main power: The ability to direct her rage at targets, occasionally encasing her weapon in hardened light for a greater affect, and has an aura of the calm she has, rather than being able to direct the calm energy wherever she wants.
Other: Onyx and Morganite cant fuse when Morganite is in rage-state, as Rhodolites main trait is controlled and calm fury, not Morganite's undirected and uncontrolled rage.
