XD You don't need a bounty to interreact with GE, and it's just mainly here to add a little bit of extra RP. Bounty Hunters and travelers can ask for guidance or aid from GE or it's warden and receive a random selection of items. [u][b]Wait, so am I trading in familiars for items? Do I have to physically give you the bounty?[/b][/u] NO! This whole thing is RP based. In your report you let me know if you 'captured' the bounty or let it 'escape'. If the bounty was captured you [i]'turn it in'[/i] to me for any prize you want. If the bounty escaped than I'll give YOU the familiar or dragon you were hunting as your reward. [u][b]I see the Bounties have tiers, does that mean some bounties are worth more than others?[/b][/u] Nope. Regardless of the tier, each bounty is worth exactly one item exchange The tiers themselves are strictly for Lore and Roleplay purposes only. [u][b]How do I turn in a bounty?[/b][/u] In either the post you used to make your report, or one right after, simply let me know what you'd like in exchange for the bounty. It can be in a Roleplay style format with you perhaps turning it in with your report to a shopkeeper, or you just simply outright asking for a specific item. The item you request must be listed on the thread though. [u][b]Can users take on multiple bounties at once?[/b][/u] No. Users may only have one bounty active at any given time. You can come back for more once your initial bounty has been completed, and the designated 3 days have passed since the last bounty was issued. [u][b]What exactly is a report?[/b][/u] It's exactly what it sounds like. A short retelling of your adventures while on the hunt. You can use any format to submit it: A Captains Log? Journal Entry? Maybe an oral retelling to the nearest staff member on hand? Go crazy with it and have fun [u][b]Do I have to write a report?[/b][/u] Yes. Participation is mandatory. [u][b]How long does the report have to be?[/b][/u] It can be as short or as long as you want it to be. I just need [i]something.[/i] [u][b]I turned in my bounty. Can I ask for another bounty as a prize?[/b][/u] No. The only way for a user to claim a bounty as a prize is to (1) Be contracted to it and (2) 'Fail' to capture it in your report. I've done this on purpose for several reasons. [u][b]Is this whole thing Dragon-based only?[/b][/u] Not at all~! Users may participate as themselves or as pre-existing characters. All species and personas are welcome. I want this to be fun for everyone. [u][b]Can we interact with others on the station?[/b][/u] As long as everyone is okay with it, yes. There is going to be some downtime between bounties so if users want to pass the time by RP-ing, than that's fine. [u][b]Do you accept gifts or donations?[/b][/u] No. Donations put too much pressure on me personally. Feel free to gift items to each other though. [u][b]There is a lot of plot going on, how do I proceed?[/b][/u] Proceed as normal~! Users are not required to participate in RP. Each Bounty Hunt is considered it's own 'instance' or thing unless the user shows interest in what is going on. [u][b]Do I have to RP?[/b][/u] Nope. As long as you follow the Bounty Board instructions, and provide me with a report, you can just pop in and out of here. Her once-fluffy braids drip water onto the tidy metallic floor of the Star Station- several passing dragons give her an odd look, hurrying away. From her messenger bag comes an infuriated, gurgling bellow. The dragoness sighs, picking what looks like a crab from her mane. "Ramona. My name's Ramona. I- my clan leader wanted something pretty, and she likes seashells, and well..." She drops the messenger bag with a [i]thump.[/i] "I like to eat cows. Not [i]catch[/i] them. And now I've got a ban from the Churnscar Wharf for [i]life[/i]." There is a snort from inside the bag. Ramona gives it the most malevolent glare she can muster, which is to say... not very. A for effort, though. She very, [i]very[/i] carefully takes out a decently-sized jar. Some might fill it with trinkets, or gold, or dirt. It's a good jar. Ramona, however, has filled it with a miniaturized, huffing, and [i]very[/i] incensed Flowing Taurus. I don't really believe it, but what can ya do," she says, cheery for someone who is dripping wet, holding an angry elemental spirit of the Zodiac, and who's collected a small colony of seaweed on her right horn. The Skydancer- a clerk, she can assume, based on the desk he's sitting behind- stares back at her furiously. A small fish flops halfheartedly out of his mane and onto the floor. His richly colored robes, and the rest of him, are absolutely [i]dripping,[/i] and smelling vaguely like fish. "Ah," Ramona winces, "you've got a, uh-" The Skydancer's eye twitches. "Yep, alright, leaving- I'll just leave this- yep. Oooookay," She gently places her clan seal on the desk in front of him, dripping briny water to the floor, and promptly books it out of there. The Taurus doesn't seem to protest- much. How the hell does a spirit summon water from inside a jar, anyways? Ugh. [i]Magic.[/i]
