"Hey! Don't let my small size diminish your hungry appetite! The name's Spanspek; that means Cantaloupe for all of you groupies who don't excel at the culinary delights of insect and plant based foods! I may be small, but that's to make up for my larger than life attitude and I am a fierce competitor, fearless in the kitchen or by the hearth!

When I hatched, I was curled around myself and I apparently looked like a melon, cantaloupe, so I'm told (often). And with my rocky gemstone hide, ironically enough, the name for Cantaloupes in the South of Sornieth are, no joke, called Rockmelons.

Who calls such tasty melons rockmelons, anyway? It's not like we're in the Shattered Plains, here!

Where was I? Oh, right!

With my talented claws and iron will, I'm here to cut the competition down to size!"
