Upon her exile, Zicatela was cursed to be mute by her father. When found washed up on the beaches of the Starwood Strand, she was taken in by the Lapidians. When she heard of the Crown, she was encouraged to participate, as the ancient artifact may be a way to regain her honor and break her curse. At the very least, it would be a way to stand up to her father. She uses rune magic to communicate with other dragons, but her family is also helps her communicate, when they can. [b]Other companions:[/b] [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/52934221]Hakone[/url] - Her mate, and ironically the one she was arranged to marry before her exile. Hakone left his House Obsidian to find Zicatela after hearing of her exile, concerned for her safety. Once finding her, he courted her properly, and they chose to become mates after all. The two can communicate telepathically due to their close bond. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/53853965]Nissi[/url] - Before Hakone found Zicatela, there was the former Lapidian prince, with whom Zicatella had Nissi, who is her spitting image. Nissi is a head-strong, outspoken lass who stubbornly followed her mother to this competition. EDIT: May I have the daily ping?

He is actually a decent and fair leader (he is a respected member of the council of leaders in his own clan) though he is sometimes blinded by his high opinion of himself. [b]Other companions:[/b] His familiars, Huginn the Death Seeker and Muninn the Storm Seeker. (Can I also be pinged for the daily question please? Thank you!)

It's true that the invitation wasn't addressed to them, but you know how it is... Finders keepers! "You're here to fight for an ancient light crown!?" The kids just nodded enthusiastically. Hope it's ok to join with a dragon like this? lol

His skills in crafting spells, and his willingness to impart such knowledge to the next generation, has left him assured that he should adorn a crown instead of his mage's hat.
