[center][url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/82669959][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/826700/82669959_350.png[/img][/url][/center] Harmony is a beautiful teal skink/cornflower shimmer/cornflower opal girl that I actually nabbed completely free-of-charge, as she is a part of the [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/raf/2981024]Sunset's Legacy[/url] project! This also means that all future Bugly Babies will be a part of this legacy too. She and Morold have got 3 eggs, and they're scheduled to hatch in 5 days! [center][img]https://flightrising.com/images/nests/7/3healthy_0dead.png[/img][/center] It seems as though the male skydancers in this family have a real affinity for lovely imperial ladies, but a real aversion to producing any offspring that take after their mothers in any way, upgrade-wise. Hope you had a good Springswarm ^^ We've got hatchlings, so it’s time to find out if we’ve finally managed to break our upgrade-free streak. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/84121354][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/avatars/841214/84121354.png[/img][/url] [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/82669959][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/avatars/826700/82669959.png[/img][/url] (the proud parents) First up, we’ve got [b]Jinxie[/b], a royal/indigo/teal skydancer with some [i]very[/i] familiar looking genes (aka no upgrades). [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/84725816][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/847259/84725816_350.png[/img][/url] Our middle child this time is [b]Zenobia[/b], who is azure/orca/steel, which kinda works in an interesting way with these genes. Speaking of genes, Zenobia is a skydancer with flaunt/trail/capsule, which is a totally new combination that the last FOUR heirs definitely haven’t also possessed (jk). I’m sensing a pattern that I’m not thrilled about. He’s yet [i]another[/i] skydancer wi- wait a minute. Is that… skink? Skink is a limited gene, which means… WE FINALLY HAVE AN UPGRADE. Granted, it is only the one gene, the breed, secondary, and tertiary are still the same old same old, but at least we’ve finally made a teeny bit of progress. Anyway, Prism is abyss/strawberry/capsule, and will be our heir this time around. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/84725818][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/847259/84725818_350.png[/img][/url][/center] So, to reiterate, Prism, being the only one from this clutch to have any upgrades, will be our heir going forward. This is the fourth time in a row that the heir has been a male skydancer, and thus far, only one heir has been female this entire challenge. As I mentioned in the last post, Harmony, the mother of these goblins, is actually a part of [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/raf/2981024]Sunset’s Legacy[/url], which means these kids (and all kids going forward) will also be a part of this legacy. This also means that Jinxie and Zenobia will soon be available to adopt for free through the thread linked above (or just through reaching out to me directly) !! I’m pretty excited to have finally made a itty bitty bit of progress after a few generations of nothing, but I’m expecting things to continue to get harder as odds decrease further. Seems like RNG found out that my favorite breeds are imps and skydancers and decided to [s]curse[/s] bless me to be stuck with those two breeds for the rest of the challenge. [center][url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/84626283][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/846263/84626283_350.png[/img][/url][/center] This [i]stunning[/i] girl is cerulean/cerulean/teal with all gem/rare genes (wasp/bee/opal). Her name has been randomly generated to be Frostbloom, and she and Prism have bred [s]which would’ve happened yesterday if i had been better at planning for my nests[/s] and are currently watching over 2 eggs. The newest gen of Buglies has hatched, so it is once again time to check out the babies!! He’s caribbean skink/blue trail/teal capsule and, you guessed it, yet another skydancer (with no upgrades from last time). She is a (very cute) xyx teal/cottoncandy/teal skydancer with skink/trail/capsule, and as you may have guessed from the fact that she shares the exact same set of genes as her older brother, she also has no upgrades. I can’t say I’m surprised, but that means we’re back to RNG to choose the heir. I flipped a coin, and tails reigned victorious, which means Solace will be our next heir.
