@givemeyourbones Ah, I see! Thanks for your thorough answer.
I am picking my genes that are significant to me in each tier, even if they don’t combo well. Uncommon Cherub and Okapi both compete for thigh space, so there was only one pair of Cherub Seraph Okapi siblings on AH. I am prepared to 45k breed change for my all-Tundra family, but hoping to avoid 165k-500k genes. [emoji=tundra laughing size=1][emoji=tundra laughing size=1]
Your flexibility to go with any gene in the tier AND be surprised is working well! The variety does make for a nice tribe!

Generation 12: Blue Beauties
Hello again, we have more babies!! If you're actually reading this post, it means I have FINALLY triumphed over the internet outages that have been plaguing my area for the past couple of days. They can try to silence me with crappy internet, but I am committed to bringing you all updates about the next set of bugly babies!!
As a reminder, we've reached max upgrades for the breed and secondary gene, so we're looking for rare primaries and tertiaries.

(the proud parents)
First up is Alliance, a sapphire skink/tarnish butterfly/mantis capsule wildclaw, is in many ways the spitting image of his mother, which of course means he has received no upgrades.

Flemion is a sapphire skink (again)/hickory facet/hunter capsule coatl. She has inherited her breed and secondary gene from her father, but since those were already maxed out upgrade-wise, she has also received no (new) upgrades.

And finally, Rivergold is a navy skink/blood butterfly/moss capsule coatl, meaning she too has received no upgrades.

Since all of the kids have the same gene rarities, RNG will decide our heir, and so RNG says Rivergold's our girl. After the crazy good luck we had last time around, I can't say I'm too surprised or disappointed that this time hasn't brought anything new. Going from a limited gene to a rare gene is around a 3% chance, so we could still have quite a ways to go before we get these last two upgrades.
As always, these kids are a part of Sunset's legacy, so you can adopt them for free here or through the previously linked thread. I hope you all have a good MistJam, and I'll see you after another max-length breeding cooldown!!

Fascinating! See you in another 35 days. I’m sure these kiddos will enjoy their childhood and time together with other family members in your lair. So many generations under one roof. ^___^
