Toqué saw the spring winds were beginning to rise, so he ran to get his kite, but on the way to the bluffs, he stumbled over his big feet, and the kite's tail ripped off and blew away in the breeze!!
He crawled around on the ground, looking for anything he could use to repair his poor kite's tail. He found some [item=blooming vine] and some [item=satin violets] and some [item=light's breath], tied the flowers to the vine and tied the long vine to the end of his kite.
Voila! A new tail!!
Toqué ran happily to the edge of the cliff and saw his kite soaring up, up, up with its new flower tail!!!

Hmm, something silly and fun to the young ones - trying to balance various flowers on your nose! Small, lightweight ones are easier (and worth less points if you want to keep score!), while larger ones like sunflowers or ones with a stem are a lot harder! Then flower crowns or a snack out of all of the gathered flowers at the end. For scored games, the winner could get a crown and the others could get a flower bracelet or braided hair/manes with flowers for accents.

Boffo was learning a new bored game (yes “bored” because it was something to do when you were bored) at school. You had to constantly check your position in the game so it was called “Checking,” and the player doing the checking was called a “Checker.” Their class assignment was to make their own game board and pieces. She decided she wanted to use flower heads as game pieces for Checking, as did several other hatchlings, so they went to the training fields to pick some flowers and other stuff for the other hatchling’s games.
She spent a lovely time gathering 12 blue roses and 12 pale pink roses with her nursery school class. She placed each flower carefully in the bag the teacher gave each of them when they got to the Training Fields. They were lining up to return to school when she dashed out of the line to pick a few extra of each just in case.

Back at school, she popped the heads off the flowers so she could use them as pieces. This bored game also required a board. Using a black crayon she drew a bunch of boxes on a piece of paper. She could not remember the exact number of rows and columns but she was pretty sure it had 8 squares along the ends. Once she had that done, she colored in every other box with a different color of crayon because it was prettier that way --this way there was no boring black and white or red and black but instead white and rainbow. She was pretty happy with it even if she had made some mistakes in making the boxes and had had some trouble erasing those mistakes.

She tried to teach her friend Ostara how to play but they ended up having more fun just jumping the flowers over the various squares to the other side to become the “Field Marshall” then using the Field Marshal to lead the special dance. She thought it was called the “square dance” move and if it wasn’t it should be. In any case they had a lot of fun until the teacher made them put the game away in Boffo’s cubby so they could have snack time. Luckily the extra flowers Boffo picked made great special snacks for her and Ostara.

What about using a strong stem or stick to hold this toy, and large petals glued onto or tied into a circular pin that can spin freely. so like. A pinwheel made of petals and flower stems

Tarquis turns some tulips upside down and glues a foam ball with some strings of yarn glued on to the cut edge. With the petals as a skirt, leaves as arms, and a smiley drawn on the foam ball, he'd made a dolly!

Corvi points at a Snapper standing some feet away, his back to the hatchlings as he studies a book.

She grabs a pawful of flower petals and quietly sneaks up behind him. A tense, if playful, mood settles over the group. Corvi looks over her shoulder, smiles at the group and then jumps on Expensive's head, tossing the flower petals and yelling "Surprise Uncle Expensive!"
Expensive almost drops his donut.

Little Curserio found some petals close to the Forest Waves clan. He picks them up and swiftly returns back to the tribe. He then walks right up to Dianthus and throws the petals on her before jumping on her back. Trying to bite her but ending up getting tickled. He would never try this again but he liked the tickles and could be seen trying to get tickled by Dianthus for the rest of the day.

Little Curserio found some petals close to the Forest Waves clan. He picks them up and swiftly returns back to the tribe. He then walks right up to Dianthus and throws the petals on her before jumping on her back. Trying to bite her but ending up getting tickled. He would never try this again but he liked the tickles and could be seen trying to get tickled by Dianthus for the rest of the day.

Finally, a challenge at which she, Jaz, would excel. No dragon to ever live was as good at pranks as she was! She set an elaborate trap, hooning up wires and using [i]just a touch[/i] of magic to bind it all together. After she carefully filled the buckets with confetti, all she had to do was sit back and wait.
Jaz’s breath caught as the faint thud announced the arrival of someone, probably Summersong, at the door. The first stage was set, as three balls silently were released from their positions and rolled down the slope. Now it was armed. She heard the door handle go down then...
POOF! All three of the confetti buckets she’d set went of at once, shocking the tiny fae who’d opened the door. Summersong caught her breath for a moment, then burst out laughing. Jaz did as well, accidentally falling off the secret ledge where she was hidden. That only made the fae laugh even harder, and once they’d both stopped, Summersong said,
“I’ll help you clean up. And Nyx will be here in about ten minutes... think there’s time to reset?” Jaz bounced up and down with delight. This holiday was fun!
