Recently she had become obsessed with rule sets for board games and had tried writing her own. Because many of the other dragons in her clan were participating in Ice's frozen flower festivities, everyone had flowers on the brain, including Lamia. She'd corralled some of the other hatchlings in the clan into playing her newest board game, Frozen Frivolity. Individual flowers were scattered around the game board, along with individual petals being used as tokens. Lamia rolled a die and moved her flower six spaces. "I win again!" she said, a grin breaking out on her face. The other hatchlings side-eyed her, their gazes flitting across the board to see if there was something they'd missed. Pixel, an adult dragon who was observing, chuckled. "Lamia, you wrote the rules, didn't you? If I didn't know you better, I'd say the game was rigged!"

Dazzle found a bunch of flowers, and a few stacks of cups. The cups got flipped upside down, and a single flower under each. Lift a pair of cups at a time, and it's a fun memory game!

He already had an idea, but he needed some kind of snails too. He flew off to find the animals and came back after a short while, plucking so many flowers as he could find. He wanted to try and make a frisbee totally made of flowers and the snails were to be used to have the flowers stick all together. "I'm pretty sure this is a pretty good idea, but will it fly?" He wasn't really sure about it, but he would find it out later. It was hard to do such a frisbee, it took him a whole 30 minutes, but in the end it was all ready. As he tried it with other hatchlings, he discovered it wasn't working perfectly, but it could fly a little bit at least. "I found out a floral frisbee!" He declared in the end, proud of himself.

"I'm pretty sure this is a pretty good idea, but will it fly?"

"I found out a floral frisbee!"

He declared in the end, proud of himself.
The hatchlings were thrilled to find a huge flower patch had bloomed overnight. There were dozens of different colors and shapes, all with such lovely fragrant blossoms. A timid, young coatl gathered an assortment of flowers and settled down in the grass. She began weaving the stems together, lining them up straight, tucking one stem around the other and gently slipping it through the loop. She added flower after flower, quietly focused on her task as the other hatchlings noisily frolicked. As her flower chain grew, the others began to take notice. A small fae perched on a nearby rock to observe. "How did you do that?" He asked curiously. "Can you teach me?" The coatl nodded, "Sure! It's super easy!" She passed some of her flowers to the fae and explained how to weave the stems into a chain, showing each step. The fae caught on quickly, and before long he had a flower trail nearly as long as himself. More hatchlings approached, carrying flowers they had picked. The young coatl and fae taught them as well. Soon enough, every hatchling in the field was gathering flowers to turn into beautiful chains. The sun began to set on the horizon. It was time to head home. A young coatl bounds up to her mother. "Momma! Look what we made!"

(So, I found out late last night that Sheba's been hogging all the spotlight... the link on BOTH hatchling pictures lead to her! This has been corrected on previous posts, so now Hera's image will send to her page properly. Sorry if anyone was trying to look for the missing sister, I'm just gonna blame Sheba being up to her usual troublemaking antics on that one.) [rule] [item=Cinder Mith] Sheba was trying not to be disheartened. She'd been excited to see Corvi again, but she was really nervous about today's task. She never was one to be the creative type, and making a toy out of flowers seemed like an impossible task. Many of the other hatchlings playing had already presented the few ideas she'd been able to think of, and she didn't want to be accused of being a copy-Capricat. [item=Ember Mouse] Hera was quick to pick up on her twin's distress. "What's got your Spiral in a knot, sister?" She finally managed to get ahold of the day's parchment, and had to admit she also felt somewhat stumped about making a plaything from petals. After several minutes, her face suddenly began to lift with an idea. Hera whispered into her sibling's ear, making Sheba giggle and look a lot happier, too. After gathering up a few pawfuls of sand, Hera used some magic she'd picked up on to melt the pile into a glass bowl. Sheba then brought over some flower petals and other glittery things from her own collection. They both filled the bowl with water and floated the various colorful objects inside. Ignace had found a decent slab-like rock in the meantime, and Hera melted the bowl's edges a little more to stick it on. After flipping their contraption over, Sheba started making her little happy squeals again. They then marched their way back to the crowd of hatchling helpers, ready to show off their new snowglobe creation.

He called his sister over and began to play. All was well... then the guardian sneezed and scattered flowers everywhere. Seems she was allergic to one of them...

Hmm, not sure if they count as flowers per se, but I remember having a lot of fun blowing the seeds off white dandelion puffs.
