She squirmed around and covered her mouth with both foreclaws in the hope of stifling her panting breaths as a dragon came in. Her heart pounded in her chest as heavy footsteps passed right by the engine she was cowering beneath. "Hmm. It must have been the wind," the dragon says - and to her enormous relief, they turned away. She waited until the door closed behind the dragon before finally allowing all her muscles to relax at once, a deep sigh bursting out of her. She lay there for a second, until the shaking stopped and she could breathe again, then squeezed out of the tight space beneath the engine. She crept over to the door and cracked it open, peering out. The dragon had just reached a corner: she caught the tip of their tail disappearing around it. With no desire to court trouble, Starsong crept out of the engine room and pointedly decided to [b]search elsewhere[/b].
