"Mom! Mom, look! I told you, I told you it was back!"
Flambaby had returned bright and early the next day, eyes shining as he looked at the stall, sidling between his mom's legs and rubbing up against her furry side to hurry her along.
She smiled at the young Tundra, nudging him affectionately with her nose and nearly causing one of the cats that lounged in her fur to fall off. "That you did, darling." Her smiled turned mischievous. "Shall we go and show them what Flambebes are made of?" Flambaby's eyes shone, and he hopped up and down in excitement in front of the furnace as his mom handed over a good amount of embers to the Fae, whose wings vibrated as he accepted them with a respectful nod.
Flambaby, however, immediately gravitated to the Snapper. "You look like my mama!" he blurted out. His face quickly turned pensive. "Why is your hide so weird? Why aren't you blue and white? Why do you feel so hot? Why--" His mom rushed to grab him by the neck, sending an apologetic look to Fuller.
"Let's go and work the bellows, alright?" Before she had even finished her sentence, the tiny Tundra was running off towards the machinery, Snapper already forgotten as he positioned himself at the end of the bellows.
"Teamwork?" Flambaby asked, craning his neck upwards to see his mom.
"Teamwork," she confirmed, holding one heavy paw ready. "Three, two, one--" She pressed her paw down slightly at the exact moment Flambaby came down from his jump, landing right on the contraption and cooing in delight as a burst of fire shot out, straight at the bottles.
They repeated the process for a good few minutes, a small queue gathering behind them as Flambaby became increasingly more hyped with every ball of flame they produced. Soon, the bellows spit out nothing more than wisps of smoke.
Flambaby hopped in place once more to try and see over the front of the tent. "How'd we do, how'd we do?!"
