(@queenmedusozoa Should we ping for future rp answers?) The atmosphere of the festival is joyful and infectious, and after the cannons signal the start of the race, Sona wants to run, jump, fly...anything! The basket is large and slightly unwieldy in her claws, and while she's large for a fae, she's still little. The crowd of larger dragons is jostling her to and fro, and the movement is pushing her away from the path of the race! Catching sight of a space between the tents, the fae darts out of the crush of celebrating dragons and into the blessedly open space. Not only will she move faster here, but there's no risk of being stepped on! She pauses briefly to wonder why nobody else is using this route, but shrugs and carries on. She is a Wind dragon after all, born and raised, even if she and her mate moved to Arcane to raise their hatchlings. She can handle anything the Cloudsong can throw at her!

How ironic. Dust didn't have time to acknowledge the irony, however, and was already pushing her way through the crowd. She noticed herself slowing down and quickly looked for an alternate route. There had to be a way faster than this, and she didn't want to run into anyone or hurt them! She quickly spotted the gap in the tents and quickly veered towards them. There was nothing in the rules saying this wasn't allowed, after all, and she didn't have time to think it over.

Though she herself was content to just enjoy the breeze through her feathers on this day, she had other tasks to attend to at the festivities. Namely, winning her clan a prize. Though admittedly, she had no idea what the prize was, the Zephyr Dancer didn't want to lose, whatever the reward was, and so she boldly pressed on. She quickly strode up to the desk after a very short wait in line. After receiving her number and basket, she made sure to examine her fruits along with the other racers. Upon hearing the announcer, she followed the instructions, soured slightly at the thought of running an entire race upright. She was a Skydancer, not a Wildclaw! Though she could easily rear up onto her hind legs to manipulate objects, she did not like walking on her hind limbs, not to mention the catastrophe that flying while burdened in such a way could entail. Still, she was determined to persevere. After the race started, she decided to slip through the gaps in the crowd until she came upon the gap between the tents. Figuring the less time she had to spend walking upright, the better, she slipped through, hoping it wasn't against the rules.

Excited to check it out, she quickly got swept away by the crowds and ended up... here? At some sort of race? Anyways, it piqued her interest and decided to stick around and join. Once it got started, she quickly became faced with a dilemma, whether to push through the crowd or leave through a path between two tents. Being the little fae she is, Angela decided that trying to shoulder her way through a large crowd was... not the greatest idea, to put it lightly. She was afraid that she’d probably end up being trampled. Also, she really didn’t want to disturb anyone in the crowd, especially any peaceful bystanders just wanting to enjoy the festivities. So, she manages to weave through a few more bodies and squeeze into the the path between the tents, apologizing to anyone she bumped into. Also having all her fingers crossed that she wasn’t going to be DQed.

No wonder her old clanmates always told her she should've been born in Windflight~! The very air seemed to scream adventure~! With a giddy little hop, she managed to weave into the crowd of onlookers for the color race. She paused, tilting her head quizzically at the announcer. A chirp of surprise, then trills of laughter heralded the colorfruit demonstration. Oh, this looked like so much fun~! Eager to begin, she raced to the booth, ready to begin this fun adventure~! The race had begun! She was ready to run, but felt her heart sink at the slow pace of the crowd. Man, this was like being caught behind the Imperials back home! They never wanted to move! A part of her was itching to write things down, but that sensory spell was just adding to the dullness of this "race" she'd signed up for. It was then that she saw the tents. She was ready to rush off, but took pause, going over the words from before. No losing the fruit, get there as fast as possible, and perhaps make a friend or two. But wait. Did that announcer mean that a player couldn't jostle another player to mess with their score? Perhaps bystanders could mess with the racers and make them lose points! Sora felt her feathered crest rise as she realized that, just maybe, being from the studious Lightflight was paying off~! Players were barred from messing with other players' colorfruit, but if the crowd could do so, even by accident, then the road less traveled was the best way to go! She just hoped she could avoid possible traps. Who knew what waited inside those seemingly empty tents? Besides, if another racer sped through, she might be able to talk a while! After all, this was supposed to be fun~!

Former First Column Spacer ^^^^^^^^^
It'd been ages since she participated in a festival. A race wasn't something she'd ever heard of before and it seemed more fun then the others. All this color was going to be tough to wash out of her fur but their clan did not have a bath house for nothing and their mix maker should be able to help. The slow pace was unexpected but if this was going to be a long race why not conserve some energy? She almost decided to follow the crowd until she spotted several forms darting between a gap in the tents ahead of her. She darted looks between the gap and the crowd surrounding her, her memory wasn't the best but it wasn't so terrible that she forgot the announcements and they had said 'whatever route you want' which was surprising since most games she played had stricter rules and there were waymarkers if she did get lost....She debated for a few more seconds as the crowd started come level with the gap. Deciding to do it she made her way sideways, sounding back apologies when one dragons growled at her for bumping into him. She made it to the tents and slipped her smaller frame through and onto adventure, how windy of her and she took a moment to imagine herself with wind green eyes instead of nature. She could feel the silly smile worm it's way onto her lips, how fun this already was!
