I reckon you should keep him as is unless you stash up a bunch of scatters!
Terts can be subtle at least whereas you can't really get away from a bad primary or secondary!

I would pick genes for him, then use the dragon search feature to view what potential offspring would look like.

As you can see, I'm working on the Autumn Monarchs now. I'm pretty close too! I already had a few genes, and I had a lot stockpiled for what was supposed to be a massive number of scatters for the Winter King that ended up only being like 3, so I was able to put it to these two instead! If I keep on track, I should be able to finish their genes by the next update. Of course, I've been pretty busy lately, so I doubt I'll get them both done by then, haha. I haven't gotten the time to scry the winter king, though I'm pretty sure I'll be keeping his current colors. They look really good on him and with the queen! I'm tired but FIRST I almost forgot: the first hatch of the summer has been posted to the legacy project thread! There's also some leftover Spring Court Descendants for sale too. As you can see, I haven't completely finished the genes for Oona, but I'm almost done! Just one more gene to go... Starmap just looks fabulous on both of them, and I really like how thin and almost ice-like Bee makes his wings look. The tert was very tricky; I liked the way filigree looked on him, but that's a gem gene and I didn't have any good scrys for the lady with a gem gene. I ended up just going with spines for him. I might try to tweak that tert if I find anything better, but the big thing right now is deciding on [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=47844841]Bee or Starmap for the lady[/url]. With luck, I'll have the Autumn Monarchs all gened and a solid gene plan for the Winter Monarchs by the next update. Cheers! Okay, I'm not [i]entirely[/i] done with them; they need a couple pieces of apparel each to finish their outfits and they need lore. That being said, if I stopped playing Flight Rising from now until the equinox, I could still breed them no problem. Their genes are done! And I've still got over a month and a half of summer left. This is a first, I think. What am I going to be doing with my time now? Well, I probably should put it to this project; neither the Summer nor Autumn Monarchs have their outfits entirely completed, and my Winter Monarchs need 4 gem genes and a coatl scroll, so this project still need a major portion of my money. However, I do have a [i]lot[/i] of time, and lots of other dragons that need attention too. Heck, just in this week or so between me finally getting that Stained gene for Oona and now, I've managed to get all the odd little genes needed for my other permas! And I'd really like to go back to Wind at some point... I'll probably spend the month of August on lore and whatnot for this project, and let my wallet have a break. That'll still give me the whole month of September to get ahead with the Winter Monarchs. This should work out well! I haven't been in the wind flight since I left in early 2017, waaaay before I even came up with this project. It's good to be back! I still have 2 weeks of break; once September rolls around, I'll get to work on the winter monarchs!
