Sapphire looked at Athena and his son with interest. "We're agreed, then? 3 Tosses each, best out of 9? And no using magic to help?" Both dragons nodded, and Sapphire turned to Fuller. "Hello again! My family and I have decided to engage in a friendly competition, with your bellows to help." He leaned closer, and mock-whispered, "of course, I'm going to win, but I have to give them a chance, right?" He winked, ducking the indignant swat from a playfully growling Athena. Straightening up, and ignoring Anguis' "DAD!!" He placed 6 embers down on the stall shelf. "[b]9 Tosses, (3 each)[/b] please!" Some time later, once their tosses were complete and the results tallied, the 3 Fire dragons wandered off, still playfully bickering. Though not before Athena had turned to the Snapper and bowed. "My thanks for an enjoyable game!" She glanced over at the younger Nocturne, and lowered her voice enough that he couldn't hear. "And it seems that my son has finally found something he likes better than fighting--double thanks for that!" Then she smiled, bowed again, and hurried to catch up to her family. Not to be outdone, Anguis grinned, and waved. "Thanks for the fun time! And happy Festival!" And this pair was a surprise. It wasn't so much that they had returned--both had enjoyed the game, after all--but rather that they were together...and the Nocturne was speaking civilly to the Tundra. Apparently, Bolt's anger at Sunfire had been destroyed by the friendly atmosphere at the Festival. Both dragons stopped by the Fire Forge stall, and put 3 embers each down. "[b]6 tosses please, 3 for each of us[/b]." Sunfire smiled at Fuller. "We can't NOT try for a bottle representing the Mather!" As their turns wrapped up, Bolt clutched his bottles. "Well, this was certainly fun! Thanks and happy Festival!" He turned to Sunfire. "Come on, we need to get back to the caves. Your Firebird probably needs feeding again...." Sunfire nodded in agreement. "Yes, he certainly eats a lot." Gathering up her own prizes, she waved in thanks to the Snapper. This was their first Fire Festival, and the Arcane Mages were enjoying it immensely. As they saw the Fire Forge, both stopped. "Look, Bombarda!" Alakazam breathed, his eyes dancing, "Fire!" He paused, watching, and suddenly grinned. "And you have to throw it into bottles...this is a game for both of us!" Bombarda rolled her eyes. She threw rocks, not fire....but it DID look like fun. Shrugging, she turned to the attendant Snapper. "I guess we'll try, then. How about...10 each?" She glanced at her brother, who nodded. "[b]10 tosses each[/b]," she repeated more firmly, "so [b]20 in all.[/b]" After their tosses were done, the Skydancers happily gathered up their prizes. "Thanks for the game!" Alakazam called as he moved off. "Yes, thank-you," Bombarda added, "it was a lot of fun." She smiled warmly. "Yeah this whole thing has been so much fun, we've loved it," she gently shoved her brother aside, "even with Mr. Lucky here." Domnick stuck his tongue out, "hey, we're sharing the luck this time. But thanks again for this, it was fun." With that, the two bounded over the bellows to simultaneously take their turns at lighting the jars.

The youngsters and elders back home will love to hear about my experience here in Ashfall Waste. After seven days of meeting dragons I haven’t seen for quite some time, but also encountering new ones, having great talks with them, today was the day for [i]good byes[/i]. But I think, I prefer to say [i]see you at the next festival[/i] as I really hope to meet again in the future. [i]"Fuller? Happy last day of Flameforger's Festival!
