A pair of Pearlcatchers, sharing clan but not common-room, made their way to the event. Ruha was pleased to note the general buzz of pleasure in the crowds. For his part, Pruni was laying his eyes upon the champions. "Oh how marvellous! Their fashion designers sent them out looking splendid! Bravo!" He gave a brief applause.
Although she could appreciate the enthusiasm of those around her, Ruha did not feel that this crowd was the place for her.
"I think right now dragons are selecting who to grant their favours to." She remarked.
"They are, are they?" Pruni inhaled as he considered the line-up. "Well, call me defaulting to type if you will, but my, isn't that
Marcel just dazzling to behold? Trinket for your thoughts?"
This was an event all four champions had prepared for. Their time to stand in the limelight and shine for their house and showcase its virtues. In a way this made them all unique. But at the current time none stood out to Ruha particularly.
"I could not choose."
"Very well!" Pruni strode forth to register event-attendance. "Hum." He murmured on his return. "We need to find an Animalia representative, do you know of anyone?"
"One of the assembly? Animalia tends to leadership and I know one of their members tends to the right colours when not bracing for battle."
"Ah, aesthetic or character. A dilemma."
"There is that Glint-clan dragon who fancies himself a leader of an adventuring band. Perhaps he will do?"
"Hrm. I suppose." Pruni frowned. "But how to get in touch?"
"Belttissa was working on a prototype for an amulet that would aid dragons in communicating with oneiromancers, and he traded her a mobile meteor fragment for it last Starfall."
So Ruha found a quiet place of privacy to send the message, and got an acknowledgement in return from the dragon to be presented as an Animalia representative.
