@Vanshira Was Barid born blind? In seeing the future does he actually see in those visions or does he get other sensory information instead like touch and sound? Does Intoa keep the great on at all times or does he avoid its use when not planning to fly? Does it provide additional use outside flying assistance? I love the idea of Faidh's normal memory becoming a disability due to her species. That's a really creative idea I never thought about.
Yes he was. When he senses the past, the sensory input is almost all sound; sometimes he can smell a whiff of something or feel something brush past him, but he is very adept at interpreting sound, enough to tell two strangers apart based on their footsteps. He really only takes it off to sleep. It provides some amount of added core strength, but its sole intended purpose is flight assistance. It may seem weird that she'd take up a career compounding incense, but it gives her the ability to control the scents around her.

Oh I see there're a lot of blind dragons here. I thought to be original. :-) Well, joining the company: Bianco Winterbloom, the lyrical hero of the clan's story. :-) He arrived to our Light clan from some Ice one and turned to be a blindborn. We have a wonderful mender in the clan able to cure blindness but she said she couldn't help Bianco. She's only able to fix what was damaged, and Bianco's eyes have never been damaged, he was born that way. In fact, that wouldn't be a problem, but... Bianco turned out to be a book lover. Even worse, he was composing stories in his mind and wanted to be a playwright. What a pitiful situation! Well, he settled in the clan library even just to be closer to the things he adored. The main librarian Blondie, a Gaoler as well, was very irritated by his presence, but she pitied and tolerated him. The assistant librarian Astrophel, a fae magician, was of much more help. She assisted Bianco if he needed to get to some point in the lair, gave him advice and all and all was like a kind middle-aged aunt for him. All this tragedy was terminated by Lady Betelgeuse. She'd been a resque service soldier for so long that everyone forgot she was a Lightning engineer! Betelgeuse presented Bianco with a text-to-speech and a speech-to-text devices. 'Where magic fails technology prevails' the lady inventor said. Now Bianco can 'read' books and record his texts. The problem was that he didn't quite have any life experience living only in the world of his imagination... And then the little girl Aelina arrived from an Ice hatchery. Also a white Gaoler, she immediately made aquaintance to Bianco and was fascinated by his fairy tales. She pledged to become his guide, and so it was. Now the adult Aelina is Bianco's guide and mate. She's opened the real world to Bianco, giving him the experience he needs.

Since then, he had to move to the foot of the cliffs since the lands up above aren't very accessible if you're flightless. As a dragon of the Wind Flight, he's been struggling to adjust to his inability to fly.

Helek has a physical disability from an injury in her younger days, making it hard to walk normally or to fly at all. Rather than being sidelined for it, she's actually treated with a bit more respect since she manages so much for the clan while also dealing with mobility issues. It adds a sort of mystique to her position, and it's entertaining to see massive dragons like 5x her size instantly give way to this little pearlcatcher when she enters the room. It hasn't stopped her from saving the lives of a few other dragons in her own way. There are unquestionably times she would like to be able to run and fly the way others can, but the most she gets done is a hot soak to deal with the odd ache that pops up. Her clipped gait is testament to how much of a force she is, proclaiming to everyone around that "I lived, and am still living". Overall, she's fine with it and at peace. On a different part of the spectrum is Zerril. Rather than being caught up in a targeted attack like Helek, he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and definitely isn't built for fighting. It didn't end well, and he ended up needing a lot of medical intervention and prosthetics to move again. The doctors really pulled through and the clan engineers rose to the occasion with all sorts of things they were developing. The latter are absolutely delighted with him, treating him as both a success and their best pal, but don't always seem to notice that their flippant cheer isn't seen as tactful or always received without resentment (a lot of them would love to become a cyborg and self-experiment for the experience of it, so it doesn't occur to them that others may not be quite as enthusiastic (or weird) as they are). He really dislikes what's happened and how much it's changed the way he looks and moves, and he has every right to feel that way; grateful as he is for the hard work saving his life, not everyone likes having this much change done to them without choosing it, drawing curious eyes and being treated like a test subject toy by the magitech branch.
Limbani looks really cool! How is the way other dragons treat and view her effected by her appearance? Seeing as her eyes got her sick a lot, have you made a lore reason as to why she hasn't gotten them removed to prevent further damage? If she could fix her appearance would she want to, or is she proud of how she is. I asked other people this same question but how does her near blindness effect her ability to fly?
The lore reason she hasn't gotten them removed is that I don't think it would even occur to her (or others in the culture she grew up in!) While Primal eyes aren't 1:1 with stronger connection with the elements/deity in my lore, for Limbani and the clan she grew up in, that was certainly the feeling: this was a gift from the Plaguebringer. It just… always was like that, and it never occurred to her that she could change that. At this point, she definitely doesn't want to. She (and the people she cares for) don't believe her appearance is anything that needs changing— nor do I, I love Plague Primal and how it looks and that carries through because I never remember that in universe someone could potentially think it wasn't. [emoji=ridgeback laughing size=1] If it happens, it happens far away from my lair. She does see basic light and shapes, and she also uses echolocation, so I imagine she uses all of that when flying. There's also plenty of other dragons in the air in Wind at all times to call out sudden unexpected dangers, and she can technically also let herself be manually guided (i.e. a harness on the other dragon that she then holds onto) but she doesn't need or want that most of the time. Strong storm weather is probably the most dangerous, since it's dark and loud and the winds could easily drive someone off-course, so that's pretty much all of her adaption gone. She doesn't fly a lot, but she can and does fly.
Is Juniper unable to do certain activities due to the risk of damaging her heart, or are most things safe for her as long as the heart is maintained? Do other dragons stay nearby her often to watch for complications? Or are problems with the heart rare and Juniper able to read the signs of problems and get help when needed?
She's very capable of most activities at this point, now that she's had time to recover! Water is really the main issue— her magimechanical heart runs on electricity and Lightning magic and that doesn't mesh well with water. While FR has canonical magic capable of getting a full-body bubble protection and allowing her to technically submerge in water, she hasn't tried that yet and doesn't intend to. She's worried that it would be too different from actually swimming/bathing while being similar enough to make her depressed about what she no can no longer do. Sponge baths only, not even any rain without ample protection! There are some other limitations, but Juniper's never really been one for extreme sports or high-speed anything, and her innate magic is Lightning so that's less of an external risk. She does technically need someone nearby who's got at least basic training in case things go wrong, because if something goes wrong with the device it's highly likely she'd faint and be unable to deal with the problem herself despite her Lightning element. That said, she's not under 24/7 surveillance or anything and doesn't need to be attached at the hip! There are a few less frequent maintenance tasks she can't easily do herself, but she does what she can on her own, including taking her own medical stats daily to monitor changes in her condition that she might not feel. The heart is built with as many failsafes as possible, and she has an emergency kit to keep her supported for a little while if something goes wrong, so she does go on walks and gentle flights alone. Mostly, she stays around friends and lairmates who have training in What To Do In An Emergency, and they keep an eye on her. (I'm a little tired and loopy: my apologies if this ended up a jumble of word salad instead of something coherent!)

I actually have so many I want to share on this topic. XD But I'll keep it to just 2 for now, as per your request in the opening post. :) First off is Gaelin. He was the first to come to mind. He's a Cryptoarcanologist (so, he goes around investigating myths and rumors about magic, such as cursed locations, magical relics, and so on.) He's blind, but he has the ability to see magical auras. ... And ONLY magical auras. So, while he might be able to see something magical, he may bump into a wall on the way. He takes notes in braille by tapping his claws into the paper, but he also uses magically-infused ink so that he can see what's being written. He does have a couple of assistants, but he is most certainly the boss, and his disability doesn't break his confidence or keep him from doing his job. Next, I'd like to introduce Vesper. He's part of the Afflicted Coatl subspecies, which seemed too perfect to pass up sharing about on this thread. Coatls of the subspecies have the Nosos Virus, and it shows up in a lot of different ways (but always will dull plumage.) Vesper thinks his condition is from a dormant version of this virus, but it's actually caused him to have Schizoid Personality Disorder. In short, he has no emotions. He decides right and wrong ONLY based on what makes logical sense. A lack of compassion can have consequences, though, despite good intentions. I hope you enjoy them. :) And I look forward to posting more of my dragons!
@Riesenraddieb Lawrence's story sounds really cool! What does it mean for him to be the highest judge? Is it a sort or religious thing or more court like in judging? If the second how much say does he have, do other dragons also play a part in judgement? How badly where his hands burnt? Was it a forth degree burn that caused nerve damage and that's why he had trouble with precision? Or did the explosion manage to take off parts of his hands?
Actually both things. He is the religious leader of his nation (massive WIP, I have the basic concept but nothing fleshed out, just religion and magic - to contrast another nation (Valéron) which goes more "The gods are dead/missing/ignorant and magic will fade so we need to prepare", and yeah, there's war happening because of that) AND a judge like in judging. The common folk loves him because his judgement is fair while nobility sometimes hate him for that - can't get away with their influence alone. They tried to get rid of him but haven't succed. Also the reason why he put up that strong facade - he won't give other any hint of a weakness. He's also in charge of judging other kings! He and the Emperor of Valéron are the one that are ruling the longest - the other three nations either having a change or are pretty young. So his opinion and judgement are highly valued. Yep, it's a forth degree burn and nerve damage thing. That was the first Intention behind the gloves as well - hiding the scars so he don't be seen as weak. Later on he got help with the prosthesis part (that is a part I haven't fleshed out yet - I love to world build with tools and waiting for some stuff to get shipped!)

Witch dragons! Love the premise. Has Mochal ever attempted to use magic or rituals to remove or lessen the chronic pain? Is the pain a consistent ache or a sharp pain that shows up withought warning?

Seeing as Bie is an undead/revived, does he continue to decay and have to constantly repair himself, or is his body in an in-between state of rotten but not actively rotting?

Thank you for responding to the edit, you can still post more dragons but I just need some time to respond to the others first.

What type of wing injury stopped Hailstorm from flying? Was the wing broken, the feathers damaged, were the nerves damaged, or was it from something else entirely?

Did Rei become mute due to trauma, choice, or as a result of the experimentation he went under? The premise of his story also looks really cool, good luck with the comic!
