This is kind of random and weird, but I hope you like it.

Toxic sludge oozing
from crevices
in the earth.

Rugged lands
torn
by clan wars.

Gnarled trees,
fleshy landscapes,
death and contagion spreading...

There must be a reason
they love it so much.

There must be a charm
in the flesh and sickness
of this land,
in the neon green pools
of death.

Is it a morbid obsession?
A die-hard loyalty?
I must discover.
I must see the heart
of the sickness,
turn it over on its back,
see the underbelly.

Maybe, then I can let it see mine.

Out of curiosity, are you only doing these for dragons or could I leave non FR/dragon OCs as well? :3 I admittedly don't focus on the dragons near as much as the characters who they are forced to host, ahaha (I'm an OC and AU lair so characters are priority).

I'd super be down for something dark as well, since I specialize in darker lore/OCs. ;D I'm about to head off for the night but I wanted to ask before any potential closings of the thread; I can link my OC post for you tomorrow before heading to work if you're interested~

Depending on his mood, he will guide you home or lead you astray! Most of my chars also have dragons as hosts, but also lore written on other pages (though not all are FR safe so I won't link them directly). Refs and info are on their profiles; i want to give a selection just in case, ehehe. :3


One - also has FR safe lore starting on this post, but the more revealing ones would be on this post. God of Malice who used to be part of the light, but since turned to darkness after life as Guardian began to take a toll. "Why Not Me?" is the perfect poem to read to get an idea of how that felt, but also the info on its profile to explain it further.


NIGHTMARE - Honestly, he'd be the one with the darkest lore, so nothing's really up on FR. Character info is there as well. Known for haunting dreams (and reality) of anyone he deems fit. Freddy Krueger and Jack Skellington bow at his feet.


Overlord Zero - My villain sona. Would also have darker writings, so also not posted online. But she's known for hating the human race and otherwise wants to crush their world in due time. She's also my form of self-indulgence so y'know...People worshiping her, etc, is always good. xD


Temptlord - Demigod of Temptation, Ruler of the Temptors, basically someone who uses the darkest desires against them. I don't have his main lore onsite due to content reasons, but he's someone you wouldn't want to cross...Ever. (tbh, I should work on him more; He's really a fun char, but others took my attention away, LOL)


I do ask to please avoid anything super realistic, or graphic blood, since I also have them off FR and may want to post it if given permission. One site they're on is basically PG so no blood, etc, can be posted.

Those shining jewels
enfold that delicate throat,
which may produce
sweetest of songs,
or the worst of curses.

When I return to my love,

I'll touch her neck gently,
and I will know then...
