Vahl and Tarik are the most evil in my lair. They live in a desolate area and will do anything to survive, but they are partial to cruel and deceptive methods to get what they want/need.

This is my totally innocent definitely not a [s]cult[/s] leader lady Seraphim! And her two little cronies/other higher ups, Caelum "The Magistratus" and Lysander "The Radiant One". conchobar. old enough to remember ancients before they appeared, and hoping to siphon power from other dragons to become an omni-elemental archmage capable of contending with the eleven. the worst part is that in some ways, he's not wrong, the eleven are pieces of work, and the idea of a person with all the flaws of a PERSON but the powers of a deity is an existential nightmare.

hannibal's real problem is that he's a narcissist. or, at least, he has a LOT of narcissistic tendencies that result in a lack of empathy toward others, a powerful need for control, severe paranoia, and to always be right. losing his role as the sole leader of the clan (combined with half losing his mind to the touch of the Shade) set him on a really dark path and now he's sort of been secretly assembling a shadowy second clan within the real one who are all loyal to him and him alone. his goal is eventually to overthrow his coleader entirely, wipe out anyone who won't acquiesce to him being in charge, and then turn the clan itself into a well-oiled machine capable of not just surviving but thriving in the elemental apocalypse he truly believes is on the horizon.

merlin is a full on selfish nightmare of a creature. he cares about two things: 1. his alchemy, 2. progressing his alchemy. has experimented on dragon eggs. has literally stolen someone else's soul. successfully added water magic to his repertoire in the process, which has only ignited the desire to drink the soul out of a dragon of every single element so that he can ascend 'beyond' the deities and wield every magic at once. also he resurrected one of hannibal's old clanmates as a homunculus and uses him like a zombie butler which is pretty mean.
