Biography
Virox
Ravenskull Champion
One of the oldest members of the Poxbearer Knights, Virox is a name feared through all of Sornieth. His mastery of blood magic was said to be so great that even one gash from his bloody sword could cause your blood to boil, causing you to suffer a gruesome death.
Virox's charge as a guardian is a vulture called Cyrus. It died in battle a long time ago, but even death was not enough to keep Virox from guarding it. Using powerful spirit rituals, Virox and a contingent of mages bound the spirit of his former charge into its skeletal body, re-animating the vulture and binding it to him to become his eternal familiar. Yet without its soul, the vulture can never be the same as it once was.
Virox doesn't care, he still treats Cyrus the same. In truth, he is just running away from the fact that he failed to protect him. He pretends Cyrus is the same as he's always been, ignoring the fact that he died hundreds of years ago. The bird that follows him now is but a shell of the life it once held.
The way Virox talks to Cyrus as if he was still alive unnerves dragons.
His mind is as sharp as his sword, and he can discern a dragon's approximate threat or skill by observing them. The way he observes dragons can cause an unnerving or uncomfortable feeling, like that of a predator observing his prey.
Aside from being a warrior, he is also a leader and is constantly looking for new recruits.
