While an inactive player is basically an empty vote.

brought up here rantoons says it might be a townslip. I'm not 100% inclined to agree and I think it's interesting to be brought up. especially since potato has played or at least spec'd other games in this theme, then knowing the town or toppat emblem isn't a slip at all.

re about pages ~12-13: I don't necessarily think we need to worry about lying for votes until later days when we have more elims and things become a little more dire. I think, personally, that being caught in a lie early game is one of the most detrimental things that can happen to scum so they'll, if at least somewhat familiar with how this theme or other similar forum maf games work, will attempt to blend in. i know around the time I was having ping mania (mid 30s for pages?) people were speculating on votes and it turned out to be a mistake and I think the immediate harping on that as an entire motivation to maybe squint more than heavily at someone is detrimental.
