Phoenix is such a beautiful gal, probably one of the most beautiful I've come across the site so far. Their main color palette is fitting for the theme, but at the same time, it's unique. The saffron scales pop out of the blue primary, just like bird claws. I would have never thought about that. The accent is literally perfect for her. It blends well with the original design and brings out the blues. The violet accessories are an odd choice, but they bring the reds and blues together, and bridges the gap between the two opposing colors.

Shamsiel's aesthetic is very unique. The mixture of stars and seas reminds me of bright summer days on the beach. The use of both the Horizon Starsilk clothes and the accent makes it look like stars floating on the seas, being moved by the waves. The flower crown and the sylvan wings is a neat touch. It keeps his face the center of attention. The sylvan wings bring a fae-like touch to Shamsiel.

I must admit, that I love anything to do with skys, but Sky's aesthetic is genuinely so perfect. The original colors are seriously dusk colors. Although the starsilk clothes are obvious choice, the addition of the Tigerlily accessories are a nice touch. They bring out the oranges and yellows. They also remind me of asteroid belts that wander off in space. The lanterns are so beautiful. They add a planetary touch to them. Kind of remind me of how the brighter planets pop out of the dusk sky sometimes. The thing that pulls this planetary element together are the eyes. The eyes are strange new planets that burst out of the skies.

I apparently love the way you create male spirals, and again with my personal obsession with skies. Cumulus is such a lovely character. Constantine's aesthetic is both fiery and mysterious. From personal experience, sea slug cloaks are difficult to work with. Seeing the cloak work with him is such a sight to see. I'm guessing it's cause of the addition of the blaze branches and the fire aura. Both pieces of clothing keeps with fire aesthetic to him. The combo of the spine and the tail jewel is such a strange combination, but together with other clothes reminds me of a candle ritual aesthetic. His pastel eyes makes him look possessed. With his ear frills that look like pale, veiny skin, It brings this macabre aesthetic to his look.

The monarch peaking around the outsides adds something really special, especially on his tail. He looks so bright and flashy, I like to imagine him sitting proudly in a little pile of all the shiny things he pulled out of the river, while the other dragons wonder where they're going to find space for it all.

I don't think I've ever seen the sea slug cloak used to better effect than on Bronzite. It's [i]perfect[/i] with her cantaloupe secondary; I love that it adds little highlights of blue into the outfit, that doesn't actually distract. She has a great colour/gene combo! The deepsea bulb adds a nice bit of fun to the outfit, too.

Originally, I was planning on giving this spot to Diopside, but there's just something about the Jokers that I kept looking at. I love their colour/gene combos and how well they work together; the face stripes from the kumo against the white and that beautiful seafoam from the driftwood is really striking. I think the accent you've used is really eyecatching, too; draws you in.

The smoke of his accent mingles with his harlequin/jester patterns to give this feeling of wild, uncontrolled energy. I know I was talking about your pink dragons, but had to start in your hib den due to less decision making. Aura is such a pretty dragon! I never realized that shale was purple; I actually had to check the accent to confirm that the purple color wasn't part of a skin! The accent Solar Protection brings out the oranges from the butterfly secondary but also has some purple tinges, tying everything together so nicely, especially when combined with the apparel! I love how he supports dragons who might not speak up as much, too! Overall, such a nice dragon!

Ironically, my brightly colored fae is also a seamstress so I just had to pick Petunia. The polychromatic bundle brings out all of the colors from her genes! Her familiar also matches her vibrant coloration. Her love of gothic horror really shows with the black underskirts! I also love her attitude! Hopefully her tone makes dragons smile, not mad!

Ianthe is so nice! I usually don't pick ancients but she really caught my eye. Bubblegum, Rose, and Cyan really go well together in a way I wouldn't even have known about without seeing her! One thing I've always liked about ancients is how the skins can be used to give them apparel and add in some highlights in ways that is more uncommon with moderns. Ianthe's accent is perfect! It accentuates the cooler blues with bright, warm splashes of orange and pink! I really love her and I bet she'll be a great teacher!

Again, typically don't pick ancients but you have many good ones! Frolic really lives up to her name; she certainly seems very playful. I've never seen rose with such a blue accent as with Twinkle and Flicker, which softens her look. I'm not sure I would have chosen to emphasize the Flaxen so much but when you add in Frolic's accent it ties everything in together! She is such a pretty dragon, almost makes me want one!

Okay, hands down one of my favorite dragons! Sabayon is so pretty! Again, we have a double rose coloration but in her case you stayed warmer, which works so nicely with the grapefruit staining, making the overall colors warming. Just like with your other dragons, the accent combines pinks and yellows to emphasize both. The bright gold of the carousel apparel ties in nicely with the vintage starsilk. I just can't say enough about how you layered the apparel! Sabayon really looks like a unicorn warrior and I would be so interested in her backstory!

I know I was talking about your pink dragons, but had to start in your hib den due to less decision making. Aura is such a pretty dragon! I never realized that shale was purple; I actually had to check the accent to confirm that the purple color wasn't part of a skin! The accent Solar Protection brings out the oranges from the butterfly secondary but also has some purple tinges, tying everything together so nicely, especially when combined with the apparel! I love how he supports dragons who might not speak up as much, too! Overall, such a nice dragon!

Ironically, my brightly colored fae is also a seamstress so I just had to pick Petunia. The polychromatic bundle brings out all of the colors from her genes! Her familiar also matches her vibrant coloration. Her love of gothic horror really shows with the black underskirts! I also love her attitude! Hopefully her tone makes dragons smile, not mad!

Ianthe is so nice! I usually don't pick ancients but she really caught my eye. Bubblegum, Rose, and Cyan really go well together in a way I wouldn't even have known about without seeing her! One thing I've always liked about ancients is how the skins can be used to give them apparel and add in some highlights in ways that is more uncommon with moderns. Ianthe's accent is perfect! It accentuates the cooler blues with bright, warm splashes of orange and pink! I really love her and I bet she'll be a great teacher!

Again, typically don't pick ancients but you have many good ones! Frolic really lives up to her name; she certainly seems very playful. I've never seen rose with such a blue accent as with Twinkle and Flicker, which softens her look. I'm not sure I would have chosen to emphasize the Flaxen so much but when you add in Frolic's accent it ties everything in together! She is such a pretty dragon, almost makes me want one!

Calvarium is gorgeous and as a plague member it would be a literal crime not to choose him. The shades of cream in berry on his stomach, along with the cream ghost is absolutely beautiful together. I really like the addition of magician's cloak too on top of all the plague fest items, because it really fits what with the colors and the little bone clasp.

Monochrome color schemes are a weakness of mine, and gosh Talia looks so powerful with the echo eater pieces and the storm scene. And feeling burdened by other's expectations is sadly very relatable.

Ok so when I chose Undine, I was mostly transfixed by the fact that that was the first time I realized the gem guardian has tide-like patterns on it. The second is that woahhh aquamarine tide/foam is absolutely gorgeous, she looks like she contains a piece of the ocean within her. That, and her lore - I just feel bad how she got betrayed and sacrificed, but I'm glad she's happy with her new life.

I REALLY THOUGHT THIS WAS A FULLBODY SKIN BECAUSE GOD THAT IS AMAZING. She looks like she crawled out of the lava, and the incense mantle works surprisingly well here - i cant really seem to get it to work because its so massive but WOW. I especially like the wisps of smoke from it that kinda start off matching her wings with the bits of red, and then turning smokey and gray at the end.
I love her entire look, 10/10 im speechless.

Evil jester evil jester- I love Sarmenti, the jester apparel sets are really good and it's a great touch to mix them up with boney apparel to give a more dangerous look. And then I noticed their skin is jester themed too! Lovely. I adore the evil jester trope, it never gets old, so between their look and their lore I def appreciate Sarmenti.

This is definitely my Arcane member bias making me pick the purple dragons, but Taliesin is stunning. And yes I did notice he is a shadow dragon and not arcane but he's got arcane apparel so I can claim him. I like how you worked the apparel and skin together, there's definitely a lot of things going on but it's not too cluttered. Maybe it's also because the colors are similar? The Starseer's Emblem giving a touch of light to the otherwise dark dragon is a good touch.

I feel it might be, but I generally find XXX can be a bit flat (personal opinion) while Cassiopeia really pops out with her colors. The pink and gold apparel fit her so well

I went to peek a bit into your Hibden and found this lovely guy! Who I'm getting is also an extremely angsty guy. I'm overall very intrigued by his outfit because he gives this vibe of having been very close to an elegant and ethereal character but something went wrong along the way. Like the flowers and clothes mostly give me a refined vibe, but the messy hair I think is what throws it off a bit, pushes him more into tragic hero territory for me. Trope analysis aside, Asteria is just very handsome in general

Still in Hibden, I had to take a look at your Ancients tab and what a gem JiangWangShu is! He's (he? Going with your lore pronouns hope that's right) just the right amount of ghost creepy. The skin fits so well with his colors, it gives him this cool vaguely decaying vibe. Which, I think that skin just would do it on any dragon, but it works especially well with the muted light browns. I could see him standing over my shoulder as an apparition

BIG BIG BIG FAN OF RINGLETS ON PASTEL COLORS!!!!! BIIIIIG fan!!!!! Seta is gorgeous!!! What a queen!!!!! Her lore with Emerald is especially touching, and the little humorous note at the end about the clan having enough models for Seta's seamstress work was endearing and funny to read.
Also love how her element isn't solely green. She may be nature, but she's also rocking those gorgeous mint Starmap hues.

Here I thought Downsoft had my heart and Green swooped in to take the rest of it. What precious lore!! Green has a big heart; so glad he has his own family and clan to take care of now. Also enjoyed seeing how Green's relationships evolved with respect to Downsoft and Sunstorm. I love Guardian's and the Search and the Charge lore, and it was crafted very well here between Sunstorm and Green. Reading about how Green found Downsoft beautiful from the start was very cute, and juxtaposed greatly with the comment about Sunstorm's tendencies to start fights, LOL.
His outfit is also neat. Big fan of his colors and how his apparel brings the focus back to his eyes. ^_^ Can give the illusion of pale Plague eyes despite him being Arcane, which ties in well with his lore.

Ametrine stole the last spot on this post for teaching me the word 'tarn'. Delightful lore, especially the conversation with Unfold. The two have such a nonchalant discussion about where the things Ametrine eats goes. It's the kind of conversation you expect between very close friends.
But going back to Ametrine, her colors are truly pleasant to look at. GORGEOUS earth eyes. The Algae secondary provides a great neutral tone for the spearmint to pop out in!! Gorgeous.
