Biography
Ignia
Fire Flight Elemental/Smith
3rd magmatic primal noodle, big bro, big sis
IKTR: 1 (ish)
"Speak of your future and it shall become your will to live." Ignia was born in the heart of the Ashfall Waste. Her elemental power was strong enough that it caused her eyes to change, flames visible from them as a sign of the power she carried within. Although not particularly close to her parents, Ignia did grow close to two of her older siblings who were also born with the Fireweaver's blessings, especially her older brother. When he left to explore and map the Ashfall Waste, Ignia decided to also leave home. Travelling through the Ashfall Domain, Ignia eventually found herself in the Sunbeam Ruins where she ran across the Hotaru Clan. Ignia opted to temporarily stay with the clan, often journeying off to new lands to explore as she wanted to see the world. On the rare occasion she was actually with the clan, Ignia used her smithing skills to create various items needed by the clan, from nails to larger pieces of machinery for Alagos. She loved her work but did not feel any real sense of connection until she met the young fire dragon, Natsu. Natsu was a bright and cheerful young dragon, his zest for life reminding Ignia of her older brother. Although not much older than the other, Ignia began to look out for him, keeping the younger dragon out of trouble and offering him friendship. While she could see that he was bothered by something, Ignia was careful never to push him on it, even when he began disappearing for periods of time. Worried, she did her best to lend an ear whenever he complained about vague topics. In retrospect, Ignia wishes she had brought something up to an outside source. |
Ignia is a strong-willed dragon, willing to do anything to protect those she cares about. Despite this, Ignia doesn't fight very often, preferring to use her power for craft rather than wanton destruction (which she partook more of in her youth). That said, she is easily persuaded to show younger dragons (especially Natsu) new tricks. Loud and brash, Ignia often doesn't think before she speaks, leading to her getting into trouble on occasion when accidentally saying something she shouldn't. Hobbies: Smithing is both her job and her passion. Perhaps it was her brother's influence but Ignia also enjoys collecting maps. She often orders new ones from Eire, the other dragon also sharing her enthusiasm for the subject. Name Origin: Sounded fiery. Plus, bonus points for those who can guess the reference. |

i also really like ignia
she reminds me of one of my dergs and i just love the fire on spirals
spirals are just as crazy and unpredictable as fire (said w love,, i have a spiral addiction) and ignis not only embodies it, but also exudes that firey passion
not only demonstrable by her apparel, but her lore as well. once again,, i loved her. i hope she doesnt burn the star i gave her/lh :]a0NRSId

This... this is a good fire rep. I love how uncluttered she is despite not having a simple silhouette at all. Those blazing Fire primal eyes match so well with her apparel, specifically the Aura and Blaze Branches. And that use of the pauldrons! They're usually so clunky to use, but you manage to layer everything to get get the chain and a the lava patch on her leg to really bring that blazing look home. This is probably my FAVORITE in your lair. Kogoruhn

Ignia is a really cool primal! I often forget just how detailed the primal eyes are on dragons with large enough eyes to show them off, and spirals are a really good choice for it. Her breed and pose is also just a nice choice, since I usually associate fire with peppiness and passion and female spirals look like they're just raring to go. I love the use of sludge and slime as genes too, the textures remind me of oil or candle wax that further accentuates the fire theme. I have to say the layering of the pauldron to match up to the chains on the mantle is such a cool effect, too. Serpenta

Ignia is one of the coolest fire reps i've ever seen! and i like how you gave her some lore (which isn't something i usually see in element reps) as a smith who could pretty much build anything. The shades of orange and black really give her that firey volcano look! and now i see fire everywhere :P

As a representative of lava-mom I must acknowledge the stunning flame that is Ignia. summer's heat works brilliantly with veined and slime to breathe ferocity into this spiral beauty! I love that the mantle incorporates a darker red to create a middleground between the bright orange flame and the obsidian base. Absolutely love <3 Lyko

The glitter of the Summer Heat skin adds this extra spicy kick to Ignia's fire elemental theme! I love how the obsidian slime has been transformed through the formatting of the skin to appear like scales with molten lava underneath! The sunshine sludge blends in so neatly with the rest of Ignia's look that I didn't even notice at first that it was the sludge gene, and with that it makes me love the slime/sludge genes with how Ignia flaunts them in a slick and subtle manner!

Ignia looks so fiery and pretty!! I love how the black goes with the golden flames and accent - She indeed does look like a fire elemental and gives off smith vibes! Also it's probably because of my general love for spirals, haha. She also shows off the primal eyes really well! Rayymond

I REALLY THOUGHT THIS WAS A FULLBODY SKIN BECAUSE GOD THAT IS AMAZING. She looks like she crawled out of the lava, and the incense mantle works surprisingly well here - i cant really seem to get it to work because its so massive but WOW. I especially like the wisps of smoke from it that kinda start off matching her wings with the bits of red, and then turning smokey and gray at the end.
I love her entire look, 10/10 im speechless. SetoPool

Gotta mention this lovely lady, who I believe is named after Ignia from fairy tail, son of Igneel and step-brother to Natsu! (Haven't read that far, but I've seen his art and it is very cool). Love your design for her, very fire-like; your Natsu and Zeref designs are also great.
SPECIAL MENTION for all of your lovely LOTR names! I saw Arwen and Elrond, then peeked into Elrond's offspring list and just about lost it. Nice job! BokuHiro6
Close... Technically Igneel. But yeah!
