"Oh no....I don't want to get this wrong."


-Precious boi. very soff (not physically, but emotionally yes).
-Made by Seto (the dragon) out of gems and a mysterious substance found within the caves, as well as some magic from a curious Calypso.
-Artificial construct that feeds off ambient magic to live. Without magic, would most likely fall apart and "die". Because of that, he can't survive being too far away from the magical hotspot that is Liradon.
-Helps Seto with his potion brewing, and knows most of the common recipes. However, Taliesin isn't confident enough to do any experiments on his own, despite Seto trying to encourage him to get creative.
-Likes things that glow and shine. Would probably happily follow glowing lights in a mire (and now he has!)
-Like a raven, he likes collecting shiny things to store away in his room.
-Can't swim because he can't float. Not really a problem though, since he doesn't really breath. Or well, doesn't need to breath. He breathes, but only because other people do, and he wants to be more like them.
-Doesn't bleed, crack, melt or chip. Actually nigh near indestructible, though Seto's still rather overprotective of him.
-Very interested in tales of the outside world, and will bombard travelers with questions.
-Really likes relaxing in the natural hot springs. Sometimes he falls asleep in them. His own temperature is always cold due to being what he is so he likes being warm, almost like a human.
-Adrianus is fascinated by him, and thinks he has the most beautiful soul she's ever seen, despite how it's artificial. In general, the two are great friends due to Adrianus having many stories to tell about the people she meets everyday and Ebb being the good boy he is.
-Has been having some really weird side effects from absorbing too much of the magic around the Mouth of Thanatos.
-Feels a strange connection to Sei, despite not knowing a single thing about them (also due to all the magic absorbtion).

-In original story, was carved out of a pure mana stone by an unknown person. Then after he was given life, was just abandoned. Unknown to him, his creator died when they tried to transfer their consciousness into his body as Taliesin was made for one thing and one thing only. To become his dying creator's new body. Again, he never knew any of this so he just assumed he was abandoned.
-Stumbled out of his creator's home, a poor lost and confused child. People thought he was a monster, and he wasn't able to rest without being hunted for several days, until he stumbled upon the Silent Forest, where the god of the forest took him in, kept him safe, and taught him to speak and read. Best years of his life.
-Forest burnt down, and he was found comatose in the ashes. Not breathing, barely moving, just crying for his friends and home. Sold as a rare creature, and ended up in the private collection/zoo of a rich noble. Eventually broke out with one of the other creatures in the collection.
-People think he's shy, but he banters with Chey without a hint of that shyness. Only really puts up walls when people he doesn't know and can't trust are part of the equation.
-He also likes new things, and while he's a little more cautious about it than others, it doesn't mean he's immune to being so fascinated with something new that he forgets about everything else.
-Able to use and store magic. His entire being is a pure mana stone - something almost unheard of; so casting an illusion to hide his true form is basically child's play.
-Still kind when he can be, but no longer as naive and trusting as before; especially since he has Chey to feel responsible for as well. Had to mature a lot due to his life circumstances which could be seen as either good or bad depending on how you look at it. Still has that urge to trust people, but now he tends to ignore it due to how responsible he feels for Chey. While he's willing to endanger himself because of any misplaced trust, he's not willing to endanger Chey.
-Feels a strong urge to explore the world; but due to his ties to Chey and Chey's fear and reluctance towards anything changing his comfortable daily habits...well, it'll be a very long time before either are able to travel. Which is fine with Ebb. They have all the time in the world.
