Her gene set is a bit unusual for my taste, but I have to admit that you made all of her colors work great together. I never considered cerulean flair before, and yet it matches her tertiary perfectly. Commendable! I also have to say that I love the gijinka artwork you have of her. It adds so much personality to her and mellows her out in a way that made me fall for her even harder.[/center] [/columns] ----- ----- [columns][center]I like to consider my love for autumnal themes and colors to be relatively moderate. Sure, I enjoy them as much as the next person, but pumpkins aren't really... OH MY GOD A G1 IN WHAT COLORS??7 How do I even begin to tell you how much I love her? I have a G1 in a very similar color scheme that I had different plans for, but the vibe of your fluffy little lady is making me question my decisions. She's so vibrant! And the accent you chose for her only adds onto it. I'm so jelly, yet I feel that if I managed to lay hands on her, I wouldn't be able to make her look any better than she does now. The slight blue touches of abyss swirl peak through the stained and mesh perfectly with the swirls on the skin, and overall vibe stitched of dark purples, cold blues and tiny specks of amber is just impeccable. I may be flirting with danger, but it's not my fault danger is so delectable![/center][/columns] ----- ----- [columns][center]Dust butterfly! She may be covered head to toe in her skin, and I'll still sense the dust butterfly from 30 feet away and will get fixated on it! Can't help my undying love for this combo. But I have to say that while her design and skin choice is peculiar, it sure does grab attention from the get go. And the longer I stare at it, the more I love it. She's like a little goddess of early spring, when first grasses start sprouting from underneath the snow and ice melts on the rivers. And honestly? And Ametyst is a 10/10 example of what I'm talking about. It's also always nice to see the rockbreaker gene in use! It's my favorite out of the fest skins we've seen so far, and it has so many fun and unexpected accent colors. I can see her being like a creepy old woman within the swamp that travelers stumble upon and speaks of old cryptids that live in the area to warn them. Then they do not know whether to trust her or think she's crazy. Idk I just really love her look. Not gonna lie, she gives me the impression that she is the loyal warrior to the spider queen. That is until I saw the picture in her bio and OMG the pale mane and those eyes! It is just so perfect! I do not understand the reference sadly but definitely looks fascinating. I always have an obsession with those type of mushrooms (I draw them all the time) and I even have my own dragon that wears the same thing lol. She's just a sweet looking skydancer that is just happily foraging in the woods. Now the real question is, does she work with the spooky witchy ladies or is she peacefully unaware of them? But I kept going back to her. She's strangely mesmerizing, and I really do love the fire theme. Boy is she dangerous though, I really love the description she had in her lore. I like your writing style, and it paints quite the picture of her in my mind.

I really like how well the space gene and the plague primal look together? The greens go so well together and it gives him like a alien like feel, and I'm also really interested in his lore and such, seeing as he's a vampire :0. Everything blends in together so well, and I like the contrast between him and his sisters and it makes a really interesting dynamic color wise (I'm assuming the other two dragons on the same page as him are his sisters?). I'd like to know more about him, since the lore you have is interesting as well as his aesthetics! Honestly I didn't realize the way those genes looked on aberrations, and honestly Pigeon reminds me of a bird of prey with those colors and accents! The eyes also tie in well together for a striking visual, and all around very cool looking! Gorgeous! Robin and caramel are such a good color combination together! I like the way diamond looks a lot on abberations, and the black and white contrast is absolutely stunning! The flecks really provide some additional detail with the wings as well, and it balances the look of this dragon really well! I like the silver accents a lot which kind of gives me like a gothic aesthetic? Really cool dragon! Fleck is such a good gene when used in certain situations, like this! ^^

Now Origami…. I’m a sucker for wildly differing/unconventional but somehow still cohesive outfit pieces. And Essence is the winner of 3rd place! I’ve come to really like Nocturnes this year, after mostly being *meh* towards them in the past. And one who encapsulates my favorite aesthetic + best Secondary? (I love you bee.) How could I not choose her?! The dynamic pose of the female Nocs really helps Essence out in the case of her clothing. I simply adore how her kelpie mane flows wildly behind her whilst her overcoat appears to be billowing in the wind. Probably one of my top 5 favorite releases. The dusky grey gradient it lends to the fringes of his mane is certainly a visual delight, especially when paired with wings of a similar shade. Perhaps the best part of all though, is Penumbra’s silver runes. It complements the glowing streaks of silver in his mane and the highlights of that bubble of light in a most delightful manner. The gold accents are a nice finishing touch to everything. Well that would require a revisit to Into the Woods, where Thorn awaits with all the grace and pompousness that the F Bogsneak pose emanates. (Seriously, they all look so snarky and I am *here for that*.) Stained is always a wildcard. You either get a pleasingly washed out gradient that slightly shifts a dragons colors into something more palatable… or you get a muddy mess of yuck. There is no inbetween. Luckily Thorn’s case is the former. I just… I love everything about this dragon! The pastel blue and purple jaguar spots cast in a sea of algae green, the dyed fabrics and feathers that harmonize with the dragon’s natural gradient, and the bold browns and murky greens that serve as a break to the other colors. She is perfect. Her colors as well - the genes you chose go really well together, i like how the the sharper red of Tomato from the fins almost guides your eyes through the dragon. The skin itself is blends well, I thought it was doing a lot more than it was - like the smoke from the moon matches nicely with the tangerine sailfin. I am not a huge fan of this breed but this one is done really well! I'd steal her in an instant lol. I can only really tell it's there om the wings, where it helps serve as a nice gradient into the spectral grasp. Nice use of layering with the grasps! I enjoy how the grasp and spellwrought starhide are layered; it really looks like the spellwrought springs out of your dragon naturally like a gene would, which helps the appearance that the grasp are coming out of those gems. The whole "mien" of the dragon reminds me of something you might find in the Astral Planes in D&D or outerspace. Again, I thought the skin you had was doing more here, but nope just good genes & use of items! Definitely fits in with the vibe I get from your Sundered Veil tab especially your "dance between the lines of mania and apathy" line. I really love the colors here as well, dragons on the brown color scale feel very underappreciated tbh (maybe it's just the lairs I've seen, not a lot of browns when they can look so good!). I really like how the light aura pairs with the halo-ing the skin has going on, it looks very good! The snakes on this gal as well as the copper earrings and celestial attendant give me an otherworldly, fortune-teller like vibe. This dragon KNOWS something! I'm not sure I want to know what but she is definitely aware of things most are not, type of vibe. Also as a side note - all of your familiar match your dragons SO WELL!!! I didn't want to waste a sentence on it for all but I wanted you to know I noticed!! [/indent]

He's got some heavy biblically-accurate angel vibes with all the wings, and those are the best kind of angels. I immediately picked him out from your lair and was like 'ooh' and then kept coming back to him as I looked around, so he has to get the top spot here. Also you've got a lore note that he might be a villain and I love that. A bad guy with angelic looks is a whole trope but I love it every time.[/columns] [columns]Wraith looks like the kind of dragon who would just casually collect bones and when asked about it because it's a bit of an odd habit to have she'd just look at the asker and deadpan, "You mean you don't?" What does she use them for, does she use them or is she collecting display sets? Who knows! Each possibility is more exciting than the last! I know this isn't what you've got down for her but she just has a lot of visual storytelling and I really liked what my brain came up with. It took me longer than I'd like to admit to see the sanddune rags, even with how visible it is on her head because the blues are buried under the purple! She's a very classic example of how to layer apparel well and make it work for you instead of against you. She's another one I kept going back to as I perused your dragons, completely overcoming my spiral dislike, and she gets big kudos for that! Midnight basic actually works super well on him and I like how the sparkly glimmer looks with that uma. Another great thing about him is those beautiful plague eyes, they match his whole vibe and bring a nice pop of contrast in the middle of his face from the darkness of the skin.[/columns] [columns]Copper is like one of my top favorite colors on FR and it really looks stunning on Veyha. Not to mention the great pairing of the sanddune rags with copper. His glowing eyes give him this mythical, godly feeling and the silks match the skin so well that they almost feel like they are a part of it.[/columns] [columns]I have this skin on one of my dragons but Surasa pulls off a completely different feeling. I love how regal it makes her look against her purple wings and the cream and obsidian on her body match the colors of the skin beautifully. I also must commend you on executing a dragon without apparel that actually feels finished! I used to try to ignore imperials as a g1 lair because I didn't want to like them and not be able to get them but I can't help but let them grow on me when I see a beautiful imp like this guy. I've turned a new leaf and will probably start my own imp collection but I won't go on that tangent, instead let me tell you how much I love this guy!! He is eerie and stunning at the same time with his unearthly vibes which totally makes sense per his namesake. I also am a huge Hollow Knight fan so seeing that little image in his bio made me smile.
