Mars is a reference to a specific version of Gustav Holst's "Mars, the Bringer of War" from his Planets suite. Said version was done on by Japanese electronic artist Isao Tomita as part of his Moog synthesizer interpretation of The Planets.
My parents have several of Tomita's albums and his version of The Planets is bar none my favorite version of the suite.

A Ridgeback fandragon for a Ridgid-brand 'work fan'. I drew on my fan at work one day and bought this dragon as a result. Easily my strangest [b]fan[/b]dragon. Scried, even looked for a wind-flight dragon, dressed, all to match the fan.
I love her.
