my actual lair lore is probably too long to explain in one sitting but:
this is Essence, my dragonsona. now why is she important? i've written her role as literally me if i managed to transcend the barriers between worlds and live in FR - where my influence still applies (as a player). this influence comes in the form of a magical pen she holds - Storia (aka my username), that she uses to weave the fates of dragons that have taken shelter in the Clan Of Starchasers, who only existed because of her to begin with!
despite having the ability to literally change a dragon's life if she wants to, Essence doesn't do anything beyond leaving it as a foundation. like what i would want, she lets the dragons live on their own, only descending from the spire she resides on far above the ground once in a while to offer mysterious advice. the residents see her as some sort of a deity or goddess, which she personally disagrees with, but doesn't argue with them either. the lore is that she isn't always present; she enters the FR world when i sleep and lives it in her dreams! when the day comes again, she leaves the world once more to back to her own real one (aka mine).
Meadow and Ichor, my progens, are the clan leaders and founders of this band of dragons that call the arcane lands home; their magic (combined with Essence's influence without their knowledge) built the first ever structure of the clan known as the Crystal Caves, a part of the Crystalspine Reaches. the very first members and those with important roles now reside there.
the main clan, aka "normal folk", live in the Starwood Strand, their allegiance to the clan indicated by crystals surrounding the shimmering wildlife. they describe their home as "a safe haven for misfits, outcasts, and any dragon alike, a place to find your perfect ending or discover your new beginnings." following in the footsteps of their leaders, most clanmates are amiable and friendly, with the general intention to help rather than harm. the clan greatly values the power of friendship, love, and strong bonds, and this can be seen from grand gestures relating to the two leaders building the entire clan out of their love and determination, to everyday occurrences, such as the resident power couple:
who can frequently be seen cuddling together and sharing loving glances. <3
the clan, being of arcane origins, put a heavy emphasis on magic and is home to many sorcerers, witches and mages alike. it is also their main way of operations, from sustaining the infrastructure, maintaining the clan's safety as well as any form of warfare (when absolutely necessary - my clan has had history of warding off an Emperor or 2).
