Oh boy, where to begin??

It all started with a single rose bush and a decision to live, but as Bird befriended other dragons, they carved away and decorated it with little pieces of themselves.
[color=transparent]xx[/color]Step by step, they made their cave a warm, cheery place full of color, laughter, and happiness. It was finally a home, a place that its inhabitants take refuge in. As more dragons came, they contributed to their clan home by adding their own alcoves and taking care of it and each other.

[color=transparent]xx[/color]The members of this clan, who are under Bird’s overseeing care, warmly welcome each new dragon as one of their own. And each newcomer, as they slowly creep inside, discover a family who accept their new clanmates with open arms. The adults take care of the little ones, and the little ones in turn look after one another and the smallest of hatchlings.
[color=transparent]xx[/color]They are not just clanmates, but parents and siblings; each finding more than just friends, but an entire family. And over them all is their matriarch Bird, who looks after them all like a hen would her chicks.

TLDR: The Druidkeep is a patchwork of a clan living in the Shrieking Wilds, lead by their matriarch Bird. It's peaceful and safe and seems to basically be a magnet for those who long for such a place to heal from their own traumas. (Projection is 10/10 lol)

The dimension it takes place in is structured as a ribcage - two universes side by side, with a strange small dimension nestled in between called The Heart.

Trying to be more active - FR+2
[center]I love coming up with lore for my dragons! (and reading other people's lore!)
This is my custom progen Carasu, and she's the founder of Clan Protector c:

She was stolen from her parents when she was still an egg. The egg thieves were corrupt mages that wanted to turn her into the perfect fighter for the very popular underground coliseum fights. As she got older she fought back against them, trying to leave, but they used magic to control her and make her continue fighting. She was finally helped by a kind mage who was checking out the fights and took pity on her, freeing her from the corrupt mages, after which she killed them and was finally able to move on with her life.
She traveled and offered her services as a mercenary for a while, which is how she ran into the dragon who would become her mate, Aeron. They traveled together until Carasu found her charge, a little baby Pearlcatcher she named Ilke. After this, they settled down in a cave in the Ashfall Wastes, content to live out their lives together. Carasu and Aeron had a daughter named Primrose, their little princess, and they were happy.
Carasu was unable to keep her nose out of others' business, though, when innocent dragons were in trouble. They started acquiring strays in need of shelter or help, and slowly their little family grew. They gained a reputation for protecting any dragon in need of help, as long as they didn't cause too much trouble. Thus Clan Protector was born, a group of misfits that the matriarch Carasu watched over with her one good eye.

Another fun bit of lore for my clan is that they have a couple of dragons-turned-statues!

Hemlock (the Pearlcatcher) ran afoul of a powerful bog witch named Meabh (also in my clan) who cursed him to slowly turn into stone! He made it to Carasu's clan before becoming unable to move. Meabh claims she doesn't remember how to reverse the curse, so for the time being Hemlock is the centerpiece in the small garden cultivated by the Nature rep, Viridian. One of the clan pranksters thought it would be funny to slap some giant googly eyes on Hemlock a while back, and no one has attempted to remove them yet, poor fellow.

Eclogite just kind of showed up recently, already turned to stone. The witch Meabh claims not to know the unfortunate Guardian dragon, but her word is not always to be trusted. I'm still working on writing and arranging all my lore -- it'll operate like a weird ARG when it's finished, where you can go through and slowly piece together an overarching story by reading the individual stories of each dragon!
My clan profile is the best introduction to my lore and my lair. It's sort of an SCP Foundation... Glitch Techs...... Various Ghost-Hunting Media.... ripoff thing, but I have a lot of fun with it!
Bit here is the main character (albeit deceased). I feel like I never actually have a chance to show error off even though err's the catalyst of the whole overarching plot so I love an excuse to!

[center]The Islet is... A quite on-the-nose name for one of the once-lost and now reclaimed floating islet-library-outposts on the lower outer edge of the Hoverview Vale. Far west of the Observatory, this land wanders the outer edges of the Crystalspine Reaches.
The magnetic field here is sensitive to fluctuations. Due to these, the temperature of the Islet rises and drops with altitude change and the land cycles through different climates over the years, which changes season, import and export and affects production.
Due to it's near unplottable nature by those non-residents (including the merchant and pirate groups who reside in this lair), it has been a refuge for outlaws.
The islet inhabitants generally take in foundlings to pass their skills to due to the negative effects of magic fluctuation on eggshell development, meaning that this lair hosts a disproportional number of g1s.
Fen is one of the co-founders! (lore is inspired by the mang reincarnation/isekai and timetravel fics I've consumed in my teens and one of my nostalgic comfort dragons...)

My lair is more an AU that kinda just does its own thing, a lot of my dragons are also gijinakfied into other universes (including these two) so the lore tends to pertain more the the rules of those universes than the FR one. But anyways, here's my favourite little bit of dragon lore:

Basically, Chippy (the lil fella, I love him he's my first and only permababy) used to be a researcher but was cursed to eternally be 4 years old because he started researching some stuff some people were not very into him researching. His parents had never wanted him in the first place and him being a researcher who could bring in large sums of money was the only reason they really kept him, but since 4 year olds can't exactly go digging through decades worth of history they decided to abandon him in the woods.
And that's where Uriel comes in.
Uriel is his guardian angel, he's been watching over Chippy since he was born and has developed a deep bond with him... Even if the bond is just on Uriel's part. Anyways, Uriel absolutely refused to let Chippy die in the woods so he decided to descend from the heavens to save him at the cost of his angelic powers.
He knows he'll have to tell Chippy someday about what happened to him and that he isn't his real father, but until the memories of the life he once led start returning to him Uriel will continue to play the role of his father, and will hopefully continue to do so even after Chippy's memories return.
They both have a really deep familial bond with each other, and Uriel has placed Chippy at the top of his priorities. Meaning everything he does, he does for Chippy's sake.
I did a little sketch of them to show off what their basic dynamic is like and because it's just. really fun drawing these two in a cutesy simple style lol
