I don't particularly like lionfish gene either, but I have one dragon I thought it looked great on:

[center]Lionfish is difficult, but it honestly can look fabulous. I think it all depends on the colours and the overall design of the dragon! It's quite a busy gene, so I either use it on busy and (intentionally) disturbing dragons or mostly I try to cover some parts of it, so that it doesn't show completely :)
Amdusias with Crocodile Lionfish is my absolute favourite!

Obsidian Lionfish looks glorious as well, and here I took away some of its business through the accent c:

Goblina was a breeding project reject that I kept cause she hatched with Primal eyes, the stripe rings on her back legs reminded me of [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazar_%28amulet%29]Nazars[/url], and that gave me the idea of making her a dragon who's immune to curses and collects cursed objects for fun.

Lionfish is a tricky but fun gene to work with. It's pretty "loud" with both its secondary colors and stripey markings. Sometimes you gotta balance out the pattern with other color/gene choices to avoid anything clashing.

I only have two lionfish, but I like them! Leif here I impulse bought when I logged on after a long time being gone and rare eye types had been released! He’s actually my wind rep too, but he’s gotten a little busy in apparel over the years haha
