Most of my babies are XYZs. For G1s they're the easiest to afford - though I love a good G1 double or triple, and for G2s I actually vastly prefer them to doubles/triples. They just feel more unique to me that way.
Here are some that I think really show of the beauty of XYZ in general with some pretty distant colours. (Coatl is a G1)

bubba, on the other hand, was a dragon i got shortly after joining. he didn't exactly have the best colors, but he had too much senimental value for me to even consider getting rid of, so i got to work trying to make the most of his colors. skink slate, as it turns out, had bits of yellow that matched his wings, while splash provides a surprisingly nice contrast to both.
