Another Thundercrack is upon us and, once again, the artists of Flight Rising are strutting their stuff. :D
Thank you one and all, you keep giving us reasons to smile!
And just to call out a few artists who's submissions awed me.
@TomSwifty : yaaas~ Net Invader brings the cyberpunk! I especially love how the details on the mane/tail give the impression of sparking cables. It's a very Tron look, and I adore.
@Ironlily : oh my goodness, Bolt Channeler brings to mind steampunk visions of airship pirates. The harness, the earring- Staff needs to recruit you for apparel design.
@MythicalViper : I am intrigued by you are the catalyst, it's very- dark net? The aesthetic reminds me of something.... oh! The Twilight Realm from LoZ: Twilight Princess! Cool!
@WildGazebo : ooo, nice an subtle! Love how reSOURCErer gives the impression that Veils are a nuisance to cabling. xD How does it interact with the various silhouette-breaking genes?

Just to gleefully shriek over a few of them~
@x0blivi0nx : oh my gosh, I love the copper-patina colors of Scavenger's Tattoos, and the scale pattern is beautiful! omg I just noticed the gold scales- it's so pretty. I look forward to seeing this layered with apparel - bet it'll be fantastic!
@Hydrixz404 : My jaw just dropped - I've never seen Lightning feathers before?? Thank you for correcting this travesty with A new Era. I also like how minimal the metalwork is - she's a cyborg, but discretely. Bet it'll also layer well with clothing. :D
@Thunderwyvern :YOU again, I should've known :p Hazardous wiring is adorable, and now I can't stop imaging little Fae doing ductwork because they're the only ones who fit. Love the gentle gradient on the crest, and nice touch with the cabling - it can stand as-is, or be obscured with apparel. Can I get a preview on this lad?
@Gr33nDragon : Heck yes! I love the coverage of Wasteland Glam. Most apparel doesn't work well with the Lady Bog neck, and you've neatly solved that problem. I really like the balance you've struck between detailing and visibility. Bogsneak are chonky dragons, so solid, sturdy jewelry is practical. and I bet this would combine well with previous festivals' apparel.
@Kaivyrin : ooo, pretty! I like how revel in the friction takes Lightning's aesthetic and makes it look delicate. This could be the aerodynamic armor of a courier who needs to fly fast, or the ornamented underarmor of a guard. Either way, it's gorgeous!
@WHOUR : yaaas, GearRepairer really brings the gleeful 'thanks, I made it myself!' vibe to the table. And your previews show that this works well on a variety of colors/genes, which is always important for Festival entries. Just, very much digging the color pallet for this. :D
