Gale whooped as the faint lines appeared on the parchment. Even if they weren't exactly legible, there was enough there for him to determine that he should definitely go...somewhere with wavy lines!

Wind! was his first thought. But that was silly. He was in the Winsdswept Plateau; there was nothing but wind. Aha! It was a puzzle. What else was wavy? Waves! or, well, a river, he supposed. He headed for Singer's Brook.

The croaking chorus surprised him. So that's why it's called Singer's Brook! All of these frogs singing all the time! He wanted to join in, but his new Fae vocal chords were a little rusty and limited in their range. "Quiet" was definitely not normal for him, but he decided that the best thing to do would be to

CHALLENGE THEM TO A SONG BATTLE!

Now wait just a minute, Gale, I thought I was telling this story.

You were, but then you gave me this Airborne Parchment. It makes things come to life. Now I'm telling the story.

Don't be silly. You can't challenge them to a song battle. Didn't you see what I wrote about your new Fae vocal chords that you aren't used to yet?

I can TRY! Besides, being quiet is boring. I don't like sneaking, and I don't wanna write a note.

But...

Come on, Bxy26, I actually live here. I know what I'm doing.

Okay, fine. But just this once. I reserve the right to get you out of trouble.

Try me.

Gale decides that the sincerest form of flattery is imitation. He decides to challenge the frogs to a song battle.

The wind outside is probably gale force, but she doesn't care too much for it. The ruined airship, however, could be hiding interesting secrets. She explores, and eventually comes across ... a rubber duck? "Cute." She snorts, but takes it. Her Clan has not borne children in a long time, but perhaps if their Lair in the Dusk Sanctum hosts hatchlings again soon, there will be a friend for them. She entered through the bamboo door and watched the hustling scholars inside. She'd never been in one of the Sanctums. What even went on in these things? One of the scholars noticed the Skydancer standing near the doorway and came over to ask why she was here. Evergreen explained what had been happening, and half listened as the Nocturne theorized about what he thought could be the cause. She gave a short nod when the scholar suggested she visit the Aergate and let him mark the Aergate on her map. She thanked the Nocturne and he turned to get back to his work, leaving Evergreen to ponder what to do. She could head out towards the Aergate, but... She let out a soft hum. When was she going to get another chance like this? Evergreen hopped past a few scholars and [b]started to explore the Gale Sanctum.
