So cool that this is a thing! I have a couple dragons that I'm theming after mushrooms and undergrowthy plants.
Here's Coprinopsis, themed after Inky Cap mushrooms

She's a kind of fungal growth themed dragon with her genes:

His entire breeding pair is based on those glowing mushrooms that grow on cave walls in Skyrim, but matches the ones that grow in the Shadow Flight's forests so well. In essence, they mainly feast on the glowing mushrooms and have developed similar-looking scales for camouflage.

my Devouring doesn't much look like it, but it is infested by a parasitic fungus that seeps orange sweet smelling sludge, which is why a lot of it is shiny and orange.

here's kudos! she's a geologist/botanist and so does lots of experiments, like growing mushrooms on her shoulder for close study!
