There's money, and he could always use money for weevil biscuit travel rations, so what the hell why not.

Spending most of her life under cloudcover didn't really prepare her for how bright it would be in these parts. A rescue mission, while dangerous, seemed like a good way to sharpen her claws. The likelihood she'd find any answers about herself was pretty low, but being part of a group of hopefully-experienced adventurers would be invaluable for her first self-imposed mission outside the clan. She was hoping that when she found Knossos, they'd be able to guide her a bit in what gear would be most useful to take.
