This is a good prompt, I wonder what my lair would smell like... probably an underlying putridness like a trashcan you forgot to take out, oil, and the smell of new materials.

Considering my clan is nomadic, it depends on where we are at the moment. I think we're in Nature moving down to Light at the moment, so everything smells like spring :)

- Taking a stroll through the slums for some inexplicable reason? Probably garbage, putrefaction, disease, and an undertone of smoke.
- The more well-off districts of the city? Nothing, though since the dragons there keep extensive gardens within the walls of their estates, you'll probably catch a whiff of something flowery. (To be honest, though, the smells of the poorer areas of the city would probably also carry up the hills that aren't far enough removed. It's just that permeating. Welcome to the reality of a preindustrial metropolis.)
- The numerous forums? Generally, they probably won't smell too bad. On market days, though, your nose will have a field day. Fruit, flowers, wine, meat, the fishy tang of seafood, and so on. Pretty much any scented commodity you can think of from across Sornieth will assault your olfactory receptors every nine days.
