Last time I was redirected to something to download like this, my antivirus immediately picked up some malware coming from the page. Even if my Java did need updating, I certainly wouldn’t go about it this way.. This annoying thing just popped up on me. Immediately reopened itself twice after I closed it.

Whe it popped up on me, the FR page I was on had a State Farm ad on the left side of the page, and something with a bunch of bubbles and a finger that wanted me to pop all the bubbles on the bottom of the page.

I seem to be getting lots of different ads, this is the first popup even with a blocker. Usually I just get force redirected to some random ad XD

Just lately I've had lots of different ads but I've mostly had the outdated java download. I've just had it three times in quick succession whilst attempting to visit the marketplace. It's becoming extremely annoying.

I get redirected in the exact same manner as SquishyPenguin (post above).
Pretty sure it's not actually Java, the url is all wrong and even their incompetent marketers would not go about advertising an update in such a disturbing manner. Plus, it popped up on a device of mine that does not have any java to update.

Java is bad enough by itself, so whatever is using java as a front to make people download it must be worse. Meaning it is terrible indeed.

EDIT: Side note, this is the only ad that has ever managed to redirect me without prior warning. BullGuard DID NOT REACT. To me, that means this is the nastiest threat in a while; it disobeys a well-programmed firewall. Please take a look at it?

I've had a lot of pop up ads recently on my android tablet, but most of them have a cancel/back button you can get out of. However, there is this one ad that keeps popping up which leaves you no way to go back at all.

The screen behind the message darkens a little bit, so it leaves me unsure where to click. Clicking the back button once, however, just takes you to the "app store".



This one happens a fair bit, too, but at least you can close the tab. It loads instead of your page, rather than its own window, BTW. (I was opening a second fr tab at the time).

I've seen some green ad text floating in the upper left corner. Unfortunately I cannot remember what it said at the moment, but I've seen it few times.

All right. It appears the League of Angels is getting creative. I checked just to make sure. The only other ad was a pizza ad :P
