I was really hyped to try out the new coli but after about 20 minutes of grinding I just can't do it. The keyboard changes are great, but the camping screens are god awful. My eyes suck. I get it. Why can't I just grind coli like I used to?

I gave it one more try today but nope. I just can't do it. No game is worth getting a migraine over. Since the coli is really all there is left to do on here (especially as the festivals are just so repetitive), other than dailies, I'm done with the site until the coli issue is fixed.

I'm really trying to avoid reaching this point, but honestly, I'm getting closer and closer. There's not much else to do on the site when you can't coli for money.

Here's my story... I've come back after a hiatus and with my dragons fed and happy (such a great gift, I was super delighted!) I decided to do some good old fashioned grinding - I love the new keyboard options, this really helps the grind go smoother. So, everything goes fine and dandy, but after a couple of battles I get a weird screen, saying something about camping and telling me to click on a dragon - the image shown (I didn't screencap it) was super colorful and full of... stuff. Not knowing where the dragon was, I tried clicking on something I assumed was a dragon, but got the same 'click on a dragon' and a mess of a picture to click on... after a few more unsuccessful tries I managed to lock myself out of the Coli for 10 minutes. After returning I tried to grind again and got the same messy screen again - this time I really looked at the image (I have excellent vision and normally don't have any troubles discerning different letters and images) and finally managed to find the dragon I needed to click on (it was really tiny and difficult to tell apart from the other sprites). At that time I said to myself, ok, you messed up the first time, so it's normal you got the camping message so soon, surely this won't pop up every couple of battles if you don't switch biomes. But no, the camping messages turns up every couple of battles and I... well, already hate this new addition to the Coli.
I don't mean to be rude or anything, like I said, I like the other changes, but this is simply ridiculous. It does nothing to improve the gameplay (the bonuses are really not useful) and completely breaks the flow of the game. You get into a routine and bam, you get an annoying pop-up message, demanding you find a tiny colorful sprite on a very colorful image, bringing the game to a screeching halt. It's beyond annoying and I really don't feel like playing anymore... so, I guess I'm done with the game for now. :(
Please consider fixing camping (making dragon images more visible and the pop ups rarer) or even better, removing it altogether (cheaters will always find a way to cheat, there's no need to punish normal players because of this). It's completely pointless and does nothing but harm the gameplay. So why have it at all?

My suggestion is this, make the boosts for camping voluntary. So if you do the Captcha thing, you get a longer boost like multiple rounds but if your trying to prevent macro users from grinding the Colisseum, don't punish everyone with clearly untested and glitchy issues. Another issue is on mobile devices, it sometimes selects THE ENTIRE IMAGE and not just a part. So you can't click the zoom option on the side or scroll in to see it and if left zoomed, makes the object unclickable. This also punishes mobile users versus PC users. That shows a huge player base also to be hampered. Last glitch to clean up is the item displaying over everything like they are stick being clicked on. Again, don't change things until you test it so much attempting to break it that you find all the major bugs. I used to do game testing for a living and one lesson we were trained is this. If you haven't found a bug, you haven't broken it enough.

Even with my coke bottle thick lenses (seriously without my glasses I cant see the lines on the palm of my hand unless im pretty much nose to it) I have found the majority of my captcha dragons within a few seconds? On a cell phone no less...a SMALL screen cell phone ...not one of those ones that are nearly the size of tablets. I have made a few mistakes true, but I've yet to be locked out or suffer a headache or anything of the sort. Heck looking at the last 2 pages of this thread I was able to correctly identify the dragon in all but 2 of the images within 5 seconds first try.
My only issue is that sometimes, even when I am absolutely sure it is the correct image (aka the dragon), when I click it it still thinks I clicked a wrong image? Do these images have a "hit box" and if so does missing it (without clicking any other image besides the backround) constitute as a "misclick"? Because if thats the case? Either the "hitbox" needs to be bigger (and the derg image) or the backround itself needs to NOT count as a click!

I am glad that you made a post for this as I came to say what others have also said. I am R/G colourblind, with imperfect vision, and this camping feature is almost impossible. I cannot even see where items are supposed to be at times, let alone which is a dragon. It is like a game of Where's Waldo, with camo.

The old ways are lost, but so am I
My problem:
- join colli
- fight one battle
- get a camping screen
Also my eyes are not functionating properly, I already zoomed in to 150% most of the time for the whole site, and that usually works just fine. But camping now added a new challange for me. Even harder to defeat than a golem workshop boss. At least in my case D:
