Dragon Share

So I've had this dragon for a while now. [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=34558988] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/345590/34558988_350.png[/img] [/url] [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=36226222] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/362263/36226222_350.png[/img] [/url] Neither of us have the treasure to change her genes. The most I did was take away her secondary gene. So the real question is... [i][b]How the heck did she end up with smoke?[/b][/i] (Her maternal grandmother has smoke, but that doesn't count towards gene determinations, right?)

Are you absolutely sure that you didn't change her tertiary gene at some point and forget, or that your friend didn't change her parent's genes after her nest hatched?

Because the only way a dragon can inherit a gene is directly from their parents, grandparents and other ancestors don't affect them. If her parents don't have smoke, then the only way she could get it is from a scroll! :)

@Limanya Soyongdoli's mom (Amethyst) is different from Kongju's (Princess). Amethyst does have smoke but Princess doesn't. The only parent they share is Majesty who hasn't been changed (he looks exactly like his dad).

@BashfulBat I'm too poor to change genes (I spend all my treasure on apparel) so the only gene that was changed was Kongju's secondary (from Facet which she got from Princess to basic).

Tis' why we're so confused as to where the smoke came from. Both Princess and Majesty have had the same genes since I bought them.
