As Zuri(7) exited the last tunnel she kept thinking back to Skylark.. 'Ohh' She whined in her head as she hoped her friend was alright. With a glance around the cave, Mongrel spotted his clanmate, that young Bogsneak. Mongrel opened his jaws to call out to his brethren, only to see that Sebastian seemed to want nothing to do with the Tundra. Huh. Maybe he was bitter? Mongrel wondered just how many mistakes the Bogsneak had made. But this was the final choice. Forwards, or back? Back certainly seemed like a logical choice, but then again, it seemed almost too logical. The forwards path's unwelcoming structure almost seemed like the brothers were testing them, purposefully misdirecting them to backtrack. It just seemed like an almost too safe decision to turn back. So, with his head held high, Mongrel slunk Forwards. It wasn't all just spite, of course- the forwards path was obviously just a trap. What kind of exit goes down, for the Plaugebringer's sake? Plus, because he knew which paths he went down, he would probably be able to find the safe paths. It was idiotic to go forwards. Plus, it would be fun rubbing it in the Tundra's face when he's right and Mongrel's wrong. So much fun. So, with a sly grin, Sebastian turned his back on the path Mongrel took, and went Back, to the familiar paths.

The duo padded down the tunnel in silence. It has been a while since they re-encountered each other at the swan fork.

The Skydancer took a deep breath. "Okay listen... I'm sorry about leaving you behind." He took another breath. "We'll stick together now, for the clan."

Zirconios blinked in acknowledgement and more than a little shock. He was actually a bit impressed that Knightley even had the conscience to apologize. Perhaps he isn't all that bad. After all, he is a clanmate.

Zirconios tries to peer deeper down the path. "Huh, it leads downward. I can't see anything down there, but is this really the end?"

The Skydancer, reckless and bold as ever, bounded forward along the path. "I came here for adventure! While our journey so far has been quite exciting, turning back now would just be... well, boring." He flipped his head towarads the Coatl. "You coming or what?"

Zirconios stared at the path, deciding if he should turn back as he had wanted to in the beginning. But now that he was all the way at the end, his curiosity was piqued. He makes his final decision: Forward.
