Introductions

Hi hello! I'm exploring FR today to see how stuff works, this is all so cool so far!!! (Please excuse me if you see any typos, i make a lotttt sometimes)

Anyways, you can call me Forge or Fen! I'm plural, and may occasionally switch between i/me and we/us, please bear with me haha. We may also sign off with our names on posts every once in a while! Our pronouns are he/they/it + neos!

Im gonna use the prompts cause im not too sure where to start-

-How did you find Flight Rising? I actually found it through a few discord friends! Also saw it talked about a good bit on chicken smoothie as well!

-What flight did you join and why? Im not too sure about my pick just yet, but i chose Wind! It was a kind of difficult pick but i liked the morals they had, and i related to them the most! It was kinda impulsive i guess-

-What is your favorite dragon breed? I dont know just yet! Im still looking around but i love the pearlcatchers right now!

-Of the familiars, which ones are your favorite? There are sooooooo many! But the mire and swamp wolves are probably my favorite right now!!

-What are some of your hobbies/interests? Oh sooooo many things. Right now imnreally into Hazbin Hotel, collecting things, the Vorkosigan Saga, Yugioh, zelda, and many more things-


One little goal i have already is to make headmate themed dragons, and maybe some based on favorite characters! Maybe I'll post on current projects or goals at some point?

Oh! And also, if yould ever like a moodboard or userbox made, just let me know!! I love making them and they dont really take long, just five me some stuff like themes, colors, or interests you have! I can also show off examples if yould like first!!

Hi Forge, nice to meet ya, I’m BunnySox, I'm also in Wind Flight, and a very breezy, warm welcome to FR!!

There’s a lot of things to do here, so many choices and activities -- breeding, buying/selling, collectibles of all kinds, Coliseum, dress-up, art shops, hatcheries, raffles and festivals, role-play, storytelling, on and on.

And a fantastic community!!

After you've played a bit, you'll start to discover what you enjoy most!!

If you feel a bit shy about asking for things...no worries. FR's community is very generous and very helpful to everyone, and especially new players. We want you to stay!!! :D

Here’s a few quick tips you might find useful…

• you’ll find that you won’t need tons of money right away -- there are free dragons (and free stuff) everywhere...check out the Raffles & Giveaways forums…I'll link you some personal faves below...
• give each dragon a Familiar & bond with Familiars daily, for a bit of treasure and some treasure chest rewards as they level up
• keep your dragons well-fed -- over 80% at all times -- to get your daily well-fed bonuses
• Which Waystone (Library menu, left) suggests daily activities and tasks for you, helping you explore the vast world of Sornieth
• under Library / Forums, 1st column, halfway down, are your Nature Flight-only forums. Introduce yourself to your fellow "Saplings" and see what goodies / assistance your Flight offers their new players
  -- if you Discord, this is where you request Flight server access
• Guide to FR Abbreviations will help you understand “forum-speak”
• to reply to someone on a Forum thread, just type @username and they'll get a notification
• upper right corner next to your u/n, down arrow, you'll find your Account Settings -- this is where you set up a Forum Signature, Avatar, & Vista…and also where you can Log Out
