I know for progen the color would be random. But today when I tried to predict for my two coatls I just get I have lots of random colors like this:

avisalbus they’re not random. All the colors are situated on a wheel, and hatchling colors are determined by looking at the shortest distance between each of the parents colors.
I’ll edit this in a sec with a picture of the color wheel.

Hatchling colors are randomly selected from any color in between the colors of the two parents on the official site color wheel. You can view this wheel as a list in the scrying workshop or auction house search, but here is a graphic:

That hatchling seems to be Platinum/Orca/(something in the blue range), which is totally normal for hatchlings between those two parents.

that hatchling is Orca/Orca/Blue with faceted eyes if you wanted to know the exact colors.
