I play Lioden, Furry Paws and Wolfplaygame!
Lioden- Lioden is a revolutionary twist on the SIM game experience - be the king of your very own pride of lionesses, breed the best cubs, defend your territory and battle other lions for supremacy. (Front page)
Lion breeding game. It's 16+ only, so it can get away with more things. Rather active site, activity tends to jump around a few times of the day. Mostly focused on breeding and dressing up your lions! Breeding is for lion mutations, rare bases (colors) and markings (like genes)- there's a ton of options and new stuff coming every so often, so there's lots of possibilities! The game has an intuitive explore function where you can fight enemies, claim new basic ladies, and travel around biomes- there's also monthly events which change some of the explore encounters! (At the time of writing, the November event is Whispering Ancestors- you can see shaman lions in explore and use herbs/gems for crafting.) Your lions CAN die, but only of old age- instead if you don't feed them they can run away and you need to pay game currency to get them back. It does work off a rollover system so your kitties don't lose mood/hunger if you don't come in!
Wolfplaygame Wolf Play is an exciting virtual Wolf game that is free to play! We blend roleplay elements with SIM game features.
Embrace pack life as you assemble your pack, breed your wolves, hunt for food, gain and protect your territory. Battle other wolf packs and NPC creatures as you explore your world.
Develop your wolves into unique individuals and roleplay them with other members. The way you build your wolves' characters influence how they interact with the immersive world around them! (Front page)
This is another wolf petsite! Art style isn't the most detailed/interesting but there's a lot of options for wolves and it's not too hard to breed for the best ones. Economy seems to be a bit weird on this one, but it's not bad- and while the community is a bit strange I haven't had issues with it. Your wolves DO die, but only after 17 years+, they have a chance to die every in-game year after that. It has an explore system that works off explore moves and a grid system, where you need to cover all the spaces by moving your wolves there. Along the way there's stuff to fight, hunt, etc. It's VERY stat-based, with your abilities in explore based off the Character Points of your wolves (how much empathy, battle, etc.) they have and then their fighting experience. There's minor events like the Full Moon Celebration from the 5th to the 8th of every month and then fall/Halloween events.
Furry Paws Furry-Paws.com - your virtual dog could be the next champion. Play for free! Always dreamed of playing a dog sim, but those you found so far didn't quite fit your standards? Furry Paws is a free, online, multiplayer dog game. Join dog lovers around the world as you raise champion dogs and build a prestigious kennel from the ground up! With over 200 dog breeds to choose from and 16 dog sports to master, a new challenge is always awaiting you! Other than entering your dogs in show and aiming for high-leveled pups, you can also choose to breed them for genetics or colours. Or you can focus on being a rescue and give a home to those poor pups no one loves D: FP also has an active chat and forums for those of you who are social butterflies. But if you'd rather hang out with people of similar interests, you can always enter a Guild (or make your own) or you can join Canine Association forums to discuss breeds you're specializing in. You can choose between a variety of profession that will earn you money, new skills and special bonuses that will help your dogs succeed in the game, and you can level your own account for even more perks and bonuses! Dogs come with their own standard images that display their breed and colours/markings, but those can be changed to an image of your own choice. There is also an Image Bank to which you can contribute yourself if you're feeling artsy! And we don't have just dogs, now you can have your own critter pasture(s) that houses up to 20 adorable critters (such as mean barn cats, lazy red pony, various snakes and many more).
Had to make that one smaller since it's LONG. You get your own kennel of whatever dog breeds you like (and there's a lot of them!) and breed them to be better in show, train them in competitions and the like. It does have genetics and things you need to breed your dogs in- it seems more like a breeding game than a decoration one. Your dogs, while there's SO MANY BREEDS, do look a bit similar after a while. It's not hard to get started with and after a while you can go into professions that let you influence the game (starting your own competitions, forming a vaccination clinic, etc.) Not sure how many people are active on this one but it does tend to run smoothly and people are online.
(Personal favorite of the three: Lioden. That game's addictive.)
