We've reached 10,000 pages! Incredible!!! Thank you all for participating and loving this thread as much as I do. It's been a rough year but I truly appreciate everyone's attempts to keep the thread rolling for this long. :)
(Also if anyone sees a post that goes against the guidelines, please feel free to inform me, and I will speak to the poster about having it edited or removed. I try to go through recent pages every time I check in, but I can't catch them all.)

This thread has officially been 'grandfathered' in, meaning that it is allowed to stay in the General Discussion after the changes, due to popularity and whatnot. For more information on that, see the Changed to General Discussion.

What is trauma-dumping? The short answer is: unsolicited, uninvited posts/sharing of traumatic information in inappropriate spaces.

This thread was being used as a way to skirt around the guidelines, and therefore was locked. I had made warnings, I knew where it was going, and yet I didn't state them clearly enough, apparently. It's only due to it's value and and reputation through the community that it got unlocked after I spoke with Aequorin.
Now, if I see people speaking on issues that put the thread at risk, I will intervene to the best of my ability.
