Oh man, I could talk about weird animals all day. Some of my favorites:
KAKAPOS. Seriously, look at this face:

Kakapos are the world's largest species of parrot, and are native only to New Zealand. They're also endangered. :(
Next, the creature with the charming name of "Scaly-Footed Gastropod":

Those scales are made of PYRITE! They live near smokestacks on the ocean floor.
And finally, Chinese Giant Salamanders. The world's largest species of salamander!

@Kell Aw man, I'm so jealous! I remember a seahorse exhibit I went to in Monterey bay Aquarium, but I can't remember if there were any leafy sea dragons there. :P

The True Flight Rising Experience
Hatched a triple-orca baby from a single-egg nest. The parents have a 65-color primary range, a 41-color secondary range, and a 17-color tertiary range. There was a .0022% chance of this color combo happening. But it’s not a g1 and there are 42,538 triple-orca dragons unexalted. This is the best luck you've ever had on this site and it’s simultaneously completely unimpressive. Incredible. Dragon ID: #74228362XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXEarned:2021-12-11

Orcas popping in to say hi!
Okay I know Orcas might be a more popular fav animal but I can't help myself. Just look at those cuties! When I was little I always said they're my favourite type of fish, before I learned that Orca's arn't fish...
But speaking about fish...

Pikes! We used to fish for them at out summer cottage, and they're really fantastic. They have suuuuper soft bellies too it's actually cute. ; v ; But they fierce and awesome.
As for land animals, Ring Tailed Lemurs are lovely.
