My absolute most favorite animals are orcas.
I fell in love with them when I saw them for the first time.
They are such amazing animals and they shouldn't be held in zoos.
I visited SeaWorld once, yes. But I was a young kid, and I had no idea.
I really hate SeaWorld.
#FreeTilly.
How can you put this beautiful creature in prison?

While I love almost all animals, orcas are the most amazing of them all, and they deserve freedom, because there isn't a tank big enough for them.
Then, hyenas.
C'mon. How can you not love hyenas?
And;

Pygmy marmoset!
Who doesn't want a finger monkey?
They are so cute and tiny and adorable and omg.
I also like sharks and hate the fact they're hunted.

I can't upload a picture right now, but QUETZALS. They're a kind of bird from the rainforest that I had to research for a school project once, and I just fell in love with them. <3
Also, praying mantises. I love praying mantises to bits.

Have had a pair hermit crabs and they are really cute. Thought that they deserved a mention. :3

For birds I think it's a tie between Magpies and Blue tits. Just awesome birds. and highly intelligent creatures too. Had a Magpie break into a locked box that I left outside while I were doing something else...

Even have a character whos quite into blue tits. (Not in that way!) But kind of have the bird like her signature which when working in a criminal environment isn't always a good thing with the names that get's tossed around... *cough*

Though I really like those black-headed gulls too or "laughter gulls" as we in sweden calls them. But I think I'll should stopp here before I rant on to long about different animals that are awesome.
*EDIT* didn't realize they would actually censor that name... Oh well.. I guess it's good I didn't choose to add "Great ___(s) Into the mix. Also a very lovely name for a bird....

This is my thread right here!!
I am a huge animal geek, so I have a lot of weird faves. I don't have the time to imbed pictures atm, but I will name a few!
Maned wolves! They look like foxes on stilts and live in the pampas grasslands in South America. They form monogamous pairs as well. I'm lucky enough to live near a zoo that has some, so I've been able to meet them in real life. Probably my favorite mammals.
Pangolins! My other favorite mammals. A group of anteater/armadillo-like creatures plated in big, thick scales that serve as protection. There are several species ranging from nearly palm-sized to the size of small dogs. They feed on ants and have LONG tongues, and roll up into a ball when threatened. They can withstand the bite of a lion when curled.
Binturongs! They're like tree-climbing cat-bears that smell like buttered popcorn. Very wacky.
Hoatzins! Rainforest-bourne birds with neat patterned feathers...and CLAWS on their WINGS. They're probably the closest thing living to an archeopteryx. The babies use their claws to climb branches out of the water when they fall.
Hairy Bush Vipers! They are straight up dragons. Go look up a picture right now. Do it.
Various sea snakes! Sea snakes of all kinds are so neat. They can hold their breath for ages, have paddle-shaped tails, and their ranks contain many of the most deadly snakes in terms of venom toxicity. However, they are actually rather docile unless harmed. I remember seeing Jeff Corwin on TV pick up a big ball of potentially deadly snakes and I fell in love (with the snakes, not Jeff...okay, maybe a little with Jeff).
I could go on for days about different animals, especially snakes. I've even though about writing and illustrating a children's book about different rare and unknown animals that are very neat.
