What This Tool Is
Drowning in the pile that is your hoard? Not sure if you've got enough items for a trade? Have so many wishes it exceeds the character limit of an forum thread? Have everything you want but want to sell everything that is needed for Baldwin, Hib Den etc and make good cash?
Does any of the above even remotely sound like you? Or do you simply love to have everything organized (like myself).
Well this tool is what you might seek then. The Super Hoard Organizer (SHO for short) first made its debut 2014 and was maintained by a bunch of people until now.

It is a spreadsheet tool, so you need a Google Account to maintain your own copy.
To see the tool and use it you need to click on the headline or the link at the bottom of this post. Then Make a copy as the blank mastersheet is view only for you and add in all the items you have in your hoard.
Yes manual input as data mining is against FR ToS.
Excel is no real option as all the functions and dependencies only work in Google Spreadsheets.

There is also a collection of addons for it called the Super Hoard Companion (SHC). It contains little gimmicks like a sale/wish-list generator, a list of ingredients and where to find them etc.

If you'd like to be added to the pinglist for the newest items, technical changes and new features just tell me.
Updates are not done the very second something new comes up. If it's small stuff like just 1-2 items added but a bigger festival is coming soon then I usually wait until then.

I'm subscribed so there is no need to ping me. But I don't mind if you still do so.

Some credits
The initial tool back from AdeleneDawner was later revamped by Culex and made it what most of you know. Most of the base text is also from them and just updated. Maintenance was later taken over by StarN1ght, then Kunikida and now I took over after a complete overhaul of Culex version.

New items and features mean updating your sheet as well. If the update post doesn't say otherwise you usually only need to add new entries.

Green colored cells contain data that you need to edit. Grey cells contain coding which you should only touch if you know what you're doing and only need to be copy pasted if new rows are added.

unknown.png
Be aware that there might be hidden cells containing code.
Such as columns B-D in the items tabs.

There are two ways of pasting information into a sheet (for Windows users):
  • Special paste CTRL+SHIFT+V pastes the content and keeps the format of the new cell (color, font etc.) but deletes coding. Not all windows machines support it properly so you can also use right click and select Paste Special with Formatting.
  • Regular paste CTRL+V pastes the content, preserves the coding and the format of the old cell. So if the old cell was red the new cell will be changed to red. This is per default supported but you can also use the right click variant and select Paste.
If for magical reasons copy pasting does not work correctly and it only pastes stuff you copied inside the sheet you might need to install the extension Google Docs Offline for Chromium based browsers.

So how to add in new stuff?

Method 1 - Old to new
Copy and paste your data from the green cells in the item tabs and the entirety of the Dragons tab into a new copy of the new version.

If you only copy over the numbers you have mind that the blank copy is sorted by alphabet.
If you copy over all green columns including the names, prices of the items mind that corrected typos, new item names and prices might be still wrong in your old copy and would carry over.

Method 2 - New to old
Add the new information to your existing sheet.
Don't be fooled that there is more text here than the first method. Both have more or less the same workload depending on what is new.

If new items or recipes were added and you don't have many empty rows left in the specific tabs follow these steps:
  1. Select the few empty ones, right-click and hit Add x above.
This will ensure the optical filter is preserved (the weird striped triangle things in one of the the top rows)
Don't use the "Add x more rows at the bottom" (located at the bottom) unless you don't care about the filter.
  2. select one of the rows that is empty but contains coding. The entire row not just some cells of it. Copy it and now select the completely empty cells. Paste and you should have lots more empty cells with proper coding.

If you have enough rows simply add in the relevant data into your sheet. You can either pull the necessary info from the blank mastercopy or from Flight rising itself (in case the blank wasn't updated yet).
If the new something are recipes for Baldwin, Fiona etc. you add in the new recipe (result, materials+their number). You don't have to edit the item itself marking it as needed for the recipe. The sheet will do that automatically.

If it's new Food then ID, item name, autosell, status of retirement, type, foodpoints.
Some tabs have more columns in need of input than others.
Afterwards you can order the ID column by A->Z through the triangle filter.

An overview on what columns needs to be edited if x kind of items were added:
  • Food - ID #, Item, Autosell, MP Gem Price, Retired, Type
  • Materials - ID #, Item, Autosell, Type
  • Apparel - ID #, Item, Autosell, MP Gem Price, Retired, Type
  • Familiars - ID #, Item, Autosell, MP Gem Price, Retired, Level
  • Battle - ID #, Item, Retired, Obtained through, Gender, Breed, Element
  • Skins - ID #, Item, Autosell
  • Specialty - ID #, Item, Autosell, MP Gem Price, Retired, Type
If the new item is a gene or breed scroll you need to add the new gene in the the Settings tab as well.
  • Other - ID #, Item, Autosell, MP Gem Price, Retired, Type

  • Swipp trade - Trade, Component, Amount
  • Baldwin recipe - Trade, Level, Component, Amount
  • Reoccurring Grand Exchange trade - Trade, Festival, Component, Amount
  • Hibernation den slot - Trade, #, Component, Amount
  • Fionas feat - Reward, Familiar
In case of Baldwin, Swipp and Fiona it also of course adds new items as well since already existing items don't get new recipes.

Hover your mouse over any cell with a little black triangle in the upper-right corner. Those contain notes and explanations. New features and changes may not work if you change the order of the columns. Visible per default Intro
Exactly what it could be. It also contains a link back to this thread. You don't need to keep that tab.
Totals
This tab will show you your overall Hoard value. Fill in the cells that are marked green with your lair's stats and it will start to auto-calculate elsewhere. You’ll be able to see how much you need for the next expansions as well as an overall total cost. Items to sell show an overview of items you don't want to keep or need for anything you search for. Items to keep are all the items you set as want to keep and also include materials for wanted trades. Total hoard value are the upper both together. The values are calculated through the autosell worth, marketplace gem price and current gem/treasure ratio.
Statistics
This is a statistical overview of your entire hoard, broken down into the major sections as per your account’s.
Dragons
This tab is for you to put your dragons in. The Breed column is necessary to calculate who eats how much in the Food Calculator. Other than that, it should be mostly self-explanatory. When it comes to the familiars, skins, and apparel, make sure to spell correctly (capitalization not necessary), or else it will flag it with a big red exclamation point to let you know the sheet does not know what that item is. Those are counted as in your hoard as well. If you entered the a skin but didn't set the Breed and Gender it will also spit out an error.
Food Calculator
This is useful if you want to plan ahead with your lair’s feeding schedule. You manually input the number of days forward that you wish to have food for and the sheet will calculate what and how much you need to convert. There is an option to input any existing food points you already have to ensure that the calculations are accurate. It excludes items you want to keep/need for trades.
SwippSwap
This has a complete list of Swipp Swap trades and what they require. The trades you want and ingredients you need are calculated automatically from the other sheets (Food, Familiars, Materials etc).
BaldwinSwap
Same thing as SwippSwap but with Baldwin trades.
GrandExchange
Same thing as again but with the festive exclusive trades.
HibDenSwap
Same thing as the previous ones but for the Hibernal Den unlocks.
FionasFeats
Same thing as the previous ones but for Fionas Feats.
Food, Materials, Apparel, Familiars, Battle, Skins, Other
These tabs calculate your hoard! It cannot auto-populate from your account, as that is against the TOS, but you can manually enter how many you own of any item in the green cells. Items which are exclusive to the coliseum or gathering are not specially marked so you need to pull a separate guide to hand. Now all columns in the order they appear in the item tabs Also if they need input (Green), have code (gray) and/or are hidden. Not all columns are present in all of those tabs. ID # is the item ID it was given by FR. Swipp, Baldwin, Exchange, Hib Den, Fiona (hidden per default) are three columns that are necessary for the three Swap tabs (Swipp, Baldwin and Hib den) Item the name it was given. Used present in Apparel, Familiars and Skins instead of the column Stacks. It auto-calculates through what you entered in the Dragons tab. Used / Needed only present in the Specialty tab. It is the sort of Used for genes, scrolls, scenes etc. It will calculate from what you set you want to do with a dragon in the Dragons tab and also counts the scenes used. Stacks is for how many full stacks you own of a given item (99), when applicable. So instead of 99 you would put in a 1 here. You can also just add 99 to your Copies column. For Apparel, Familiars, and Skins there is no such column as they don't stack. Copies the same as Stacks but for non-stacks. Like when you have 10 of an item. Not all items stack like apparel. In this case count the single items. Keep / Want is for you to mark how many you want to keep/get for yourself. Ingredients are calculated on their own so you don't need to bother with them. Autosell is what the item sells for if you hoard-sell it. Not the actual price in the Treasure Marketplace. MP Gem Price is what it costs in the Gem Marketplace if applicable. Retired includes items that are not available anymore or former festival that only appear through Chests and Pinkerton (since the probability is underworldly). Cycled items like the Night Sky Silk Set do not count as retired. Type What kind of item it is. A chest, an apparel pack, insect food or meat? Is the apparel for heads or the tail? Some categories are official and used in FR others are sheet-exclusive (such as the ones used in Other). An exception here is the Skins tab. There you don't need to enter what Type it is as it automatically pulled from the item name. Points is Food exclusive and is to set how many food points a single item gives. Level is Familiars exclusive. This one needs you to set what the current boding level is with that particular familiar. It is needed when tracking the progress for the FionasFeats tab. Obtained through is Skins exclusive. This is how/where you can/were able to get the specific skin. The settings affect how the skin is valued. Gender, Breed and Element are Skins exclusive. Those are the properties of the skin like which breed and gender can wear it and (if it came from an elemental holiday) to which Element it belongs to. Gender and Breed are used for the sanity check in the Dragons tab. Element is for yourself in case you want to filter. Swipp Get, Swipp Need show how many items you still and in total need for a trade you want. Need is what the recipe asks for in total multiplied by how often you want to trade. This does not consider at how many you already have. Get is what you actually still need to gather. So it is Need - Have. You can read it as You still need Get of Need (Get/Need) Baldwin Get, Baldwin Need the same as the two Swipp columns. Exchange Get, Exchange Need the same as the two Swipp columns. Hib Den Get, Hib Den Need the same as the two Swipp columns. IMPORTANT: Only edit the green cells, as the rest may contain coding that CAN break if accidentally overwritten. Hover your mouse over any cell with a little black triangle in the upper-right corner. Those contain notes and explanations.
New features and changes may not work if you change the order of the columns.

Visible per default
Intro

Now all columns in the order they appear in the item tabs

Also if they need input (Green), have code (gray) and/or are hidden.
Not all columns are present in all of those tabs.
ID # is the item ID it was given by FR.

Swipp, Baldwin, Exchange, Hib Den, Fiona (hidden per default) are three columns that are necessary for the three Swap tabs (Swipp, Baldwin and Hib den)

Item the name it was given.

You can read it as You still need Get of Need (Get/Need)

Baldwin Get, Baldwin Need the same as the two Swipp columns.

Exchange Get, Exchange Need the same as the two Swipp columns.

Hib Den Get, Hib Den Need the same as the two Swipp columns.

Fiona Need is Familiars exclusive and shows if you need that particular familiar for a Feat you want and haven't finished yet.

Get is how many you still need of that item including recipes and trades.

Wanted Value the wanted number calculated in the Get column multiplied with the Autosell or MP Gem price.

Total Owned is how many items you totally have including worn items, stacks and copies.

Total to Sell is the number you have minus what you want to keep and need for recipes/trades.

Value to Sell The number calculated in Total to Sell multiplied with Autosell or MP Gem price.

Value Total is Total Owned multiplied with Autosell or MP Gem price.

Insects, Meats, Seafoods, Plants are Food exclusive and is the number of points a food item has multiplied by how many you have of that item.

Hidden per default
Settings
Some stuff outsourced. Such as which breed prefers which food, which genes are available, how many lair expansions there are and what the cost. You only need to edit this tab if more lair space becomes available, new genes/breeds get release etc.

FoodCalc
The brain behind the Food Calculator. As it is quite big it needed to be outsourced as well. Unless there is an error or overhaul you never have to edit this tab.

As said, the SHC or it's addons won't work without the SHO.
There are two ways to utilize them.

The good thing is you can always alternate between both versions as all addons are the end of the dependency chain. They depend on the SHO tabs but no SHO tab depends on them. Nothing breaks if you remove them.

Method 1 - Add some Addons to your SHO
This might be your favorite method if you only want to use one or two addon and not all of them.
  1. Open the SHC mastersheet
  2. Right click on the tab-name of the addon you want to add to your SHO
  3. Select Copy to -> Existing sheet (wording my alternate since I'm German)
  4. Select your sheet and done

Method 2 - Use a copy of the SHC as separate sheet from your SHO
This might be useful if you have a lot of data entered into your SHO and you noticed it slowed down quite a lot.
It's like separating the sheet into brain (holding the data) and body (SHC which utilizes the data of the SHO)

If you use this method you might have a a lagging Companion sheet since it always needs to pull changes from the SHO to the SHC.
You will notice that there is a sort of pseudo-SHO in the hidden tabs of the SHC. This is necessary so the SHC has data to work with. The data is a direct mirror of your SHO so you don't have to add new stuff there.

Another drawback is when the order of columns in a SHO tab changes. Those changes will not automatically update to references in a separate sheet which only pulls data from it. Changed tab names are also not supported.
I will try to make it as flexible as possible (costing resources as well though).
But in case try to keep the number of tabs the same and add new columns at the place where they're new in the SHO.
  1. Make a copy of the sheet
  2. Copy the link of your SHO and paste it into the field in the SHC Intro tab.
  3. Hover over the dotted cell below the link and allow access to your sheet.
