I should have mentioned AH flipping but I didn't want to ramble for too long, and it also has a fairly long learning curve. But... The Guides are out there.

I guess I got demotivated long ago when comparing GnG with gem purchase.
500G is 5USD, which is more than 6 days maxing out GnG.
at 15min a pop that is an hour and a half of my time, which equates to around 3.33USD an hour. I'd like to think my time is worth more than that. (I have also never maxed it in 15min, 20-30min is my norm, putting my hourly rate a lot closer to 2.5USD)

If you are enjoying it its a moot point, but other in-game methods aside, i could do things in RL I don't enjoy instead and earn a lot more than 3.33USD an hour, then buy gems with it.*

As it is, if you scroll down my clan page you'll see a couple of my better AH profits that I've woken up to (this morning was only 400kt and 28G). That's not bad income for sleeping. A fair bit of that came from selling coli loot I got while chasing Baldwin ingredients for brewing (also for profit), the rest was AH flipping.

Looks like Jingo doesn't mind coli, Jingo's lair has two L18s and a L19 which means grinding plus earning XP simultaneously - value adding! ;)

lol one day I can brew them but being stuck at lvl 12 because baldwin gives me everything but the mats I need xD But yeah, everyone has their own way of playing and one day I hope to get to flipping but not til my gene projects are done someday first xD Usually I use g&g as a way to wind down after work with youtube on my tv but I can see it getting boring easily for others. @gn0me HOLY HECK! Thanks! This is so great. My tundra is a filler right now, and I dont really care too much about her stats. I am glad it is actually not the greatest thing to do, very reassuring. I find the fact that I perfectly understood everything you said here very comforting, as it means I am not stupid after all. (haha) I dont know why but I LOVE Coli grinding! I am thinking of starting a leveling business. Well, when I think about it, I do know whyI like coli grinding. It is the thrill of getting something good, because usually when I am JUST starting to get bored, I get something good. BTW both my dergs have Elims that I got myself, I am very proud. @ShadowWolfDeath omg I bow down to you if you can play GnG while watching videos. I can play coliseum while watching movies but only because it has keyboard controls! If you didn't use keyboard before try it, you might not get so bored with coli! Typical battle in Redrock Cove (I need squiggle): AEEAEEAEEAEWAEWAEWAEQAEQAEQ etc until breath is built up, (say two rounds) then ASQASWASE - its only hitting the mouse button between every battle that is annoying! My first dragon usually loses breath first as its doing more than 2/3 of the Eliminating so gets dodged more often in which case AEEAEEASQASWAEE clears the round and gives me 18 breath back on the first derg. Bosses? Just scratch, they are like a recharge round! Apply haste and rally to whichever dragon needs to use sap and leave the other dragon un-buffed so the round doesn't clear too quickly. @Jingothejumper kudos for getting all your stones yourself, good work! If tundra is just a filler, try upping the INT (or using another dragon instead of tincturing) and equipping Aid to heal your fighters (5 VIT is really low!!!) I need lair space - I can gift you this one if you like as I don't want to exalt a dragon with battlestones equipped (plus my first really good friend on this game gifted him to me long ago) [url=https://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=52531177] [img]https://flightrising.com/rendern/350/525312/52531177_350.png[/img] [/url] He's not far off L12 when you can equip Disorient (apparently its pretty amusing as the enemies can hit each other) He already has Contuse and Aid and Discipline. I'd probably put field manual in to the other bottom slot and you can see how much breath each enemy has currently (good for prioritising which of the remaining two enemies to defeat first if you can't knock out both before their next turn) Also I have dom discount this week, if you want to tincture the tundra I can buy one for you for 25,500t

@gn0me Oh my gosh! I love that fae he looks so cool! I dont want a tincture right now, I may just grab some fodder or whatever. Yes though! I would love him!

@Eaglespirit can't tell you much more, its something that works on chrome and I shift to firefox :)
I think from the three dots in top right you scroll down to More Tools>Extensions and you should be able to search for all chrome extensions, so just search for 'stylish' or 'stylish for chrome' or something.
I think you have to add stylish to chrome then you can add Styles for different websites, or across all websites etc.
Can't think why its against ToS... except I guess teh dark screen mucks up teh effect of skins that have parts whitened out, but I don't really like those skins so it never bothered me when I used it.

(Updated 11/26/2013)[/quote] At least we have the Game Database now, but indeed it shouldn't be hard for FR to have items highlighted by usage (seeing as a third party add-on claims it can do it without even being part of the game engine) It would make the game much more user friendly, especially (but not only) for newbies. I know I've eaten and transmuted a lot of valuable stuff in my time, do you know if anyone has suggested this as a QoL upgrade? It would: 1. put everyone on the same playing field and 2. reduce moderators workload (instead of them having an extra job to police users who may be using add-ons that other users either do not know exist or simply refuse to use due to their desire to comply with ToS.)
