So my personal # dragons exalted count has been hovering within reach of 200k for several years, but I've been kind of inactive and not really chasing it. However, before the Arcane vs. Light battle, I noticed I was reasonably close (within 10k or so) and figured I'd be able to reach it. And I reached it! And kind of surprised myself by going kind of way past it this week. ^^; [img]https://i.imgur.com/p22SFur.png[/img] I like stats, so I would like to share some stats. From my manual records, I exalted 24963 dragons and 156510 levels. However, Dragon Restoration page shows that I actually exalted more than that, so I will need to go back to it to re-verify the actual numbers with a parser. (For those who know about setting the page to /0 and copying all the data at once, sorry, that page broke for me at about 9000 dragons exalted. It runs out of memory and just tosses an error.) [img]https://i.imgur.com/iQLzU0d.png[/img] --- Anyway, about my dragon and level sources! I only attended for a very short time, receiving 143 dragons in the Public Buy. (These have been recorded as Level 1.) Most of my levels came from: [LIST] [*] Prehoarding: 8650 dragons, 53996 levels. Around 100 dragons / 600 levels were lost due to non-returns. [*] Training: I exclusively trained to lv4 this week, though there were a few cases where I accidentally went to lv5 when I was not paying attention. [*] AH leveled dragon sniping: I bought a lot of leveled dragons listed on the AH at or under the prices that I wanted. [/LIST] I took snapshots of my expenditures during the battle as well. Gems were sometimes at great rates like 1:990 or 1:980, so if you see some weird t/g swaps, sometimes that's what happened. I traded treasure for gems so that I would have enough gems to keep going. I did a lot of things to participate that I did not do before. I also broke my personal records for previous battles. How about you? Did you gain anything out of this push for yourself? :)

You exalted twice as much in one week as I have in my life, good grief. Really putting the whole flight on your back.

Oooh this is exciting! I was actually rather curious about it when I saw you casually mention that you boarded over 8000 dragons. That's insane. You must have single-handedly exalted like 10% of all of light's fodder that week.
What I am still curious about is just how much time did this take you? Did you start before OOF boarding opened?

Because it takes me just over 5 minutes (if all goes well) go get two fodders to level 7. Using this as a baseline (though you are probably faster), it would have taken you approximately 365 hours alone for leveling boarded dragons. That's like, 8 standard work weeks of 45 hours. That's a full time job. Hat's off, that is some dedication!

Me, I just finally got rid of all the stored unleveled fodder that I never got around to train up when they had bonuses and got almost enough treasure out of sending dragons to the raffle to get the 10 million treasure in the vault achievement. I'm only missing 500kt so I better do some GG :P

@Zafirmei I spent a nonsensical amount of time on the prehoards! I had some higher levels stored in my Den from just casual buildup over time, but the bulk of what I did was only after OOF boarding opened. I focused on filling as many spaces as possible with lv6 dragons, and I stopped 1 week before the battle to rest up. I trained 7780 lv6 dragons for OOF boarding.

I thought about storing lv7s, but when I saw the number of spaces offered, I decided not to. My lv7 Mire time is 1 min 38 seconds per lv7 on average so it would take 3 minutes and 16 seconds per run with 2 fodder. My lv6 Mire time is 1 min 4 seconds per lv6 on average so it would take 2 min 8 seconds per run with 2 fodder. When considering thousands of dragons, I decided that this difference was too huge to go to lv7.

By the way, on Sunday, most of my dragons were returned to me. I had an average exalt rate of 500 dragons per hour, and I sat there for 14 hours exalting dragons. D: I was so grateful to my boarders for being so prompt, but I was also dismayed when I finally cleared my queue, slept for 2 hours, and woke up to 800 more PAs when they had been at 0. ^^;
