I think most terts have their place, but I've never liked Soap. Koi is cool but it makes the dragon look really busy in most situations. I really want to love Thylacine but the color fade on the back makes it waaayyy more situational than i'd like

And I saw a really pretty Keel where it was like... brown/pink XYY SD F with Ripple/Freckle and looked like sakura petals falling... but that doesn't mean I ever scry with Keel on purpose, just that I have to recognize that sometimes it does work. Also Minecraft ore fandragons.
(I like Lace in both theory and execution, but darned if it doesn't look weird on most places I try to get it to work, unfortunately...)

I dislike a lot of genes lol, but I'll pick one of each ancient. I stuck with unique genes although they could be ported across ancients in the future.
Aberration-Polypore. Just doesn't look natural to me.
Aether-Space. I like the idea but would never want a dragon with it.
Undertide-Remora. I just don't like the idea of the fish. Like are they independent but also somehow attached to the dragon? Are they part of the dragon?
Veilspun-Hard to say with this one, I guess branches are a little big for my taste.
Gaolors-Gnarlhorns. Their poor claws.
