I love em a whole lot tbh, the design is great and the gene selection is very nice (even if they are sadly lacking in any sparkle). I'm not surprised people are going wild for them however, since it's the first breed that REALLY challenges the dynamic body-type thing we were promised with Ancients.
Banescales are wyverns, sure, but lacking arms isn't quite as exciting as Two Entire Heads.

My first thought when I saw them was "ew, I hate them"

However, I can see why they're so well received because people have been wanting a plague monstrosity with multiple heads and they are very well done; they really have that horror vibe, which is exactly what they were aiming for. I actually like a lot of the genes and wish they were available for other breeds.

It's going to take me a long time to decide whether I like them or dislike them. There's just a lot going on there, and it overwhelms my brain to where I can't really "see" them. But I thought I would dislike a 2-headed dragon and I don't instantly hate them, so that's my warmest reaction right now.

It's going to take me a long time to decide whether I like them or dislike them. There's just a lot going on there, and it overwhelms my brain to where I can't really "see" them. But I thought I would dislike a 2-headed dragon and I don't instantly hate them, so that's my warmest reaction right now.

i love them. i think the art is pretty cool and i really like the genes they have! i'm not sure if i'd call them my favorite breed of all time but they're definitely one of my favorite ancients.

I think they're really cute!
